The room, though simple, was spotless and super-comfy. Lovely clean sheets and towels, snug mattress. Plenty of water pressure in the shower. Good air-con: quiet and worked a treat. It also I particularly liked it for the attention to the little things. For example, 1) Power points in arm's reach right next to the bed, so no scrambling around unplugging things in order to recharge your phone. 2) Not too many blankets on the bed in summer; you don't spend all night kicking them off, resulting in an untidy pile on the floor. 3) The TV was modern with perfect resolution and plenty of channels on offer. 4) The milk for breakfast is fresh and comes in bottles. The reception and lounge/dining room is a fantastic throwback to motels of the '60s and '70s. The 1961 mural is deservedly famous and is even a stop on the Gloucester town tourist trail. There is also a pool. The motel is also conveniently located. And the owners have huskies. Win-win in my book

The motel was close to parks, shops and bowling club. Staff were very friendly and it was no trouble to help you in any way they could. We will definitely stay there again when we are in Gloucester.

The only problem we had was there was no hot water at night, just Luke warm. The owners said a plumber was coming to fix it this week.

I cannot recommend high enough. 11 out of 10. Jim went above and beyond to fix our booking. My 2 sons and I stayed in a family room. It was so comfortable. My eldest was asleep by 730pm one night (winning!) We enjoyed a swim in the pool. Walking distance to absolutely everything. Just perfect.

Nice big room. Well equipped with microwave toaster kettle etc. Also iron snd ironing board. Very comfy bed.

We asked for a late check out, even an hour but they couldn’t accommodate… I worked cleaning hotel rooms when I was younger, you can always accommodate a late check out as of course it’s impossible to clean every room at one time. I’d pay an extra fee to do so if necessary.

We found our room was very clean and tidy with all electrical appliances in order and we even had a microwave oven as well! Bathroom was very clean with all supplies we required. It was nice to see a larger than normal TV with good reception and the bar fridge was very useful in size and position. The a/c was useful in the morning as it was quite cold on our time to pack up and return home.

The pool, the bar, the pool table, the outlook where the pool table is overlooking an in ground pool that changes colour at night. The garden & lawn is good where the smoking table is. The room was neat , clean, tidy & in order, the fridge wasn’t noisy! Clean bathroom.

Older motel (i.e. some cool retro bits) that is very well maintained right in the center of town (but very quiet). Great for kids as it has a lovely big pool within view of all the rooms. Rooms are spacious, clean and bright. Owners are friendly and helpful. There's also a really cool mural in the restaurant!

Bathroom reno, BBQ and pool area. It was lovely to sit outside in the evening. Late check in. Reception was very helpful in accommodating our needs.

Noise from other guests - it was peak time and there were a number of families in house. This wouldn't normally bother us however we had a long day of driving and an early start to Sydney the following morning. It was only an issue because of our circumstances.

The shower was excellent,the bed was comfortable,air-conditioner worked great,room was clean,kool little glass milk bottle overall wouldn't hesitate staying there again.a great feed at the pub on the rounderbout.

One small thing the fridge kept moving making it difficult to open,maybe fix it to the cabinet.sorry
