It was clean, room service was fantastic pretty peaceful. I would have been happy to wash my dishes room service had my dishes vanish, the cleanliness was fantastic, our shower looked to be recently updated, basic equipment in the rooms and enough bowls and cups for all of us was great!!

Towels could have been re used for a two night stay but all were replaced. Dishes could have been cleaned by us but no tea towel was available. A can opener would be good

The exceptional customer service with friendly greeting on arrival. Quick and simple check in. Also a side note of praise for the restaurant... They took my order as they were closing up and happily sent the delicious chicken schnitzel to my room! All round great place. The coloured Street lights were a treat too.

The parking (though not an issue for me personally) was a tad cramped with large vans. May have proved difficult if if been in a larger vehicle.

The Gateway Motor Inn was an overnight stay on a long drive. The motel was great for the overnight stay. Comfy beds, clean, reasonable sized rooms, hot water in the morning and walking distance to town for a look see and feed. Met our needs. Staff efficient, though stretched due to staff shortages. Overall thumbs up

Did the job at reasonable cost. No notable negatives. Narrandera looks an interesting town, saddened we didn't stop for longer, but the long Aussie road awaited

The hosts are wonderful. Genuinely welcomed and treated me as an individual. Friendly service, a warm hello and a smile when walking by. I even left some washing in the guest laundry after dinner . Andrew was more than happy to unlock it for me again and ensure I had everything. Super clean, quiet and very comfy room and bed . Restaurant food and service also warm, friendly and delicious . Thankyou

That I couldn’t stay longer .

The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful. The room we had was in the corner over near the pool, so was far enough away from the main street so didn't hear any noise. The beds (1 double and 1 single) were quite comfortable and plenty of space in the room. Was within walking distance (about 5mins) to the local RSL . Good Cheap motel which meets the requirements. Only stayed the one night as we already had accommodation pre-booked in Wentworth

Good location, right in town. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Toiletries in bathroom were nice. Happy to have undercover parking for my vehicle at rear of building. Nice restaurant on site.

Loud, extended noises from other guests returning to the hotel at 1am. Luckily I travel with ear plugs. Guests who smoke can do so right outside their room, and I found the smell overwhelming when exiting the room in the morning.

The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, bathroom as expected and water hot. Location was excellent. Staff were pleasant and the new owner Andrew anticipated our every need - amazing service.

Room service was a bit unpredictable but this was to be expected with the staff shortages in the town. Don't take this as a negative just a universal problem everywhere.

warm welcome, well located in the centre of town with everything needed for a one night stay. enjoyed the pool. great early coffee just down the road Pet friendly…

queen bed super comfy , single bed a bit “springy”. Room was compact but manageable and quite retro. ask for a downstairs room if stairs an issue as rooms on 2 levels

Friendly staff location great and very clean I will be staying again for sure we were planning on leaving at 7 but I had a great sleep and decided to sleep in a little extra I will be seeing you again on our next trip

There was nothing I didn't like

A pretty basic motel. Fittings were like stepping back in time but adequate for a comfortable nights sleep. Bed was very comfortable and warm and we slept like logs feeling very refreshed the next morning. Close enough to walk to Ex Services Club for a lovely evening meal.

A hand towel could have been provided for drying hands after using toilet instead of using bath towel.
