We loved our stay at the Hydro. It exceeded our expectations. Excellent price and location. We had a lovely night in the bar , and the meal was great. Complimentary continental breakfast had everything we could want. We look forward to coming again. It’s very old and a work in progress but that is all part of the charm. All the main areas of the building are renovated to a high standard and we loved it. We have stayed in many motels and this was right up there with our best experiences

Nothing to dislike

The Hydro Majestic Hotel is an incredible place. Opened in 1919. It is a grand old building with 64 unique rooms, all renovated with modern amenities. It has a magnificent foyer with stain glass windows and the bar, The Freckled Duck, featuring murals by a local artist, is a gem of regional NSW. It is a short walk down a promenade to the Main Street. And you can check out the amazing anamorphic portrait of Walter Burly Griffin (who designed the town) on the water towers across the road.

I loved the property as it has so much character and I just wanted to know more about its history. I hope they continue the renovations and keep its character as it will be absolutely stunning if they do

There’s nothing I didn’t like but a suggestion would be that I’d love to see a book at the entry with pictures and more info on the history of the building

Although the hotel is slightly off the beaten track it is well worth the slight deviation. This is why we chose to stay rather than in a main road motel. It is a heritage building from early in the 1900's retaining most of the original features and is beautiful. Leeton is also a lovely country town with all the conveniences you could want. A nice continental breakfast was also supplied.

Some renovations were underway during our stay and the restaurant and bar were closed.

The Hydro is a magnificent old building set in a lovely garden setting . TBar and Restaurant were closed on Sat. nighthe Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is also a wide verandah to which the rooms have internal access. To top this off Buffet Continental Breakfast is included. The staff were friendly and helpful

Such a lovely old building and very friendly staff. The room was very generously sized and the included breakfast was a nice surprise. The guest areas are very clean and tidy, although the building itself is obviously undergoing some maintenance. Absolutely loved the little sitting area by the fireplace in the foyer.

Nothing - for the price, the hotel far exceeded expectations.

The hotel is perfectly located at the highest point of the Township of Leeton, positioned at the top of the main street. The hotel is old worldly with Art Deco charm. As soon as you walk through the main entrance they is a beautiful wood fire and large sitting area with comfortable lounge chairs and sofa to relax or simply enjoy a wine or two. There is a cozy old style bar, which severs beautiful meals. The management and staff are very friendly, accommodating and go above and beyond to help the customers.

Superb accommodation, lovely staff, generous breakfast fare and great location! Beautiful vintage vibe and cosy welcoming holiday environment. Highly recommend!

Consider providing toilet spray/spritz and a selection of different pillows, current ones too thick/high.

The pizza was great and service was excellent. The bar was lovely and found the whole hotel to have a warm, inviting feel. The bedroom was a great size and very cozy.

The bathroom was a little disappointing considering the size of the bedroom and kitchen. The shelf in the shower seemed to be put in an inconvenient spot.

It is a unique historic property with Art Deco era charm, a different experience to a “normal” hotel or motel. The recently renovated room was quite spacious, very clean and comfortable and the walk in shower a plus. Lovely wide verandas through French doors were great and afforded good views and a nice breeze.. Classic high ceilings meant natural cooling inside too. Its location is very convenient to town and the Bowling Club around the corner served a delicious meal. Continental breakfast was good. Once renovations are finished, this will be a real gem!

Nothing really. Just be patient, with the renovations in progress total restoration of its grandeur will take a while.
