Quiet 1 bedroom apartment which had a kitchen that was well equipped if you want to prepare a meal in the room. Comfortable bed and very clean room. The resort style pool with kids area was fantastic for our little one. Fantastic drinks by the pool and very relaxed atmosphere.

The whole resort needs some TLC and maintenance. The kids area in the pool is fantastic however the pool itself looks tired as it needs to be painted. The billboard signs driving into 1770 are obviously very old as the resort didn’t look how it appeared on the signs. The billboards set a picture of very high expectations. We did make reception aware of people smoking outside our room however they were swift to rectify this issue.

The pool is lovely stretching around the inside perimeter of the resort, and is perfect for small children as the deepest part closest to the the restaurant is only 1.4m deep, while the rest is around 1m. The 'low-noise' policy of 9 pm is also very welcomed and everyone seems to adhere to it. The beach is about 300 metres behind the resort and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We also asked for our adjoining room to have 2 single beds which was catered to within an hour of the request online. The rooms were spotless and had everything you could ask for, with each room also having an outdoor spa bath on the balcony in a small half-enclosed area!

The beds are quite soft so if you need a rock for a bed, this might not suit your sleep style. Although the apartments themselves were very clean, there were large areas of black mold on the ceiling in the hallways. The water pressure in the shower is minimal.

The hotel vibe is great, super central. The pool area is a real gem, giving off serious vacation vibes. It's surprisingly chill, no wild parties or rowdy folks. The staff is top-notch, making it a comfy stay.

The internal facilities of the room are a bit outdated, and attention to detail in terms of cleanliness may need improvement. For instance, there are visible stains in the fridge from previous occupants that could be easily cleaned. The washing machine needs to be aired out; when we opened it to use, there was a foul smell inside. Hair on the chairs needs to be addressed for cleanliness. The kitchen utensils are also quite old and have an odor.

Our stay was only short, however, from time of arrival we were made to feel welcome and taken care of. We arrived just outside of reception hours and had called ahead to inform the staff of our delay. Yet, once arrived we were greeted with exceptional service assisting with our room, facilities, a late dinner reservation, while answering our queries with patience and friendliness. Our room opened up from the balcony straight into the pool that runs like a lagoon around the property. There was live music to enjoy setting the atmosphere as we sat for our meal. The vibe and energy of the resort was settling and so appreciated after a long day and big drive. The facilities and room were impeccable. The bed was comfortable, shower hot, aircon cold. Of you were staying longer, the apartments are self-contained with washing and cooking resources. You could very comfortably set-up for a longer period of time here and be relatively self-sufficient. The location unplanned, yet was perfect for our next days activity only minutes up the road and seemingly central to local shops, beaches and dining. I plan on retuning and highly recommend staying here.

I liked how clean the rooms were and professional workers are. I felt like I could trust them with whatever I gave them or asked for and it’s amazing to see the diversity of people they hire l loved getting to know all of the workers. And even the other visitors were so kind and respectful. And how interactive the staff are with the visitors it felt like a home away from home. So thank you so much

The bar could of been opened a bit later throughout the week as everytime I went there it was shut by 7:30pm and we asked for cleaning the room once but never received it until I went down and spoke to the manager and she did it herself and cleaned it amazingly so thank you to her she is absolutely amazing but that’s minor I loved every minute staying there and I will be back again.

We were needing somewhere to book for a last minute stay. We chose the cheapest room option. The room was nice enough for the price. Comfy bed, big shower, tv had Foxtel which was a plus, kitchen was nice although we didn’t need to use. Pool area was nice, quiet and relaxing and it looks like some of the higher end rooms would be really lovely as some go out onto the pool. Reasonably priced drinks which is impressive at a hotel. Overall, for the price point, I think it was a good stay, I can only speak for the cheapest room option. Not my favourite option in Agnes for that price point but this place does have a pool and restaurant.

Was hoping to have a cocktail by the pool in the afternoon but the restaurant/bar isn’t open until dinner time. (Understandable and this isn’t a bad thing, just my personal least favourite aspect) - you can purchase alcohol cans from reception and have them though.

The room was a good size bed was comfortable.very clean room Spa bath was great nice and hot water .

We stayed for 3 nights and our was never serviced clean No clean towels no extra soap or bathroom products added in those 3 days and no extra coffee milk or sugar which would have been nice . Water pressure in the shower was not good at all... very disappointing that given the holiday destination is perfect weather was great that they don't make use of the solar energy and heat the pool so it could be used all year around 😢 Beautiful pool white elephant in winter.. disappointing the amount it cost per night that they don't do room service for dinner 😕

We've stayed at Lagoons before. It's a fantastic place to stay and their restaurant serves up delicious meals. Our 11 year old twins loved the pools and we all enjoyed our own space with interconnecting rooms and own spas. The staff are all lovely and very approachable. We also left belongings there, which we hadn't realised until a staff member contacted us and arranged to have our items posted back home.

We were unfortunately on the side with the construction. I understand this is just one of those things. There was dust all over the balcony because of it, but we were happy that the machinery was only operating on the Friday.

Our swim out room was perfect for the occasion. We loved the easy access to the pool and dining area and the room had everything we needed.

There were random people using "our" private deck, twice, which was awkward. At one time there was a group of people on the ladder and surrounds when we came back from a walk who ignored us when went out there. We never saw them again when they finally left some time later, so not sure they were even guests. It was also a bit disconcerting to be able to access the rooms from the street without a secure entrance but maybe indicates this is a safe place to stay?

Rooms and pool is nice. The reception staff have exceptional customer service and are eager to please upgrading us to a bigger room knowing that we were on our honeymoon. Was a lovely welcome 😊

The bar wasn’t open when we arrived later on a Friday afternoon. Wanted to chill by the pool and have a drink but BYO is not allowed, also the kitchen closes quite early at 7:30pm. We ordered the Seafood Chowder which was more like a creamed corn soup with frozen seafood, quite disappointing seeing we were so close to the ocean.
