Great location, right on the beach in the centre of Bowen. I was only going to stay one night, but extended and would have stayed longer if I could. I had one of the cabins without a bathroom - very roomy and comfortable, in a garden setting. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. I had a kitchenette, dining table, and it was set up well. The shared bathroom block was located near the cabin. It was clean, but dated (I'd say from the 1970s). All in all, I had a great stay.

It didn't worry me, as the price was great for such a central location but some people might not like the older bathroom facilities.

Location to the Grand View Hotel, within walking distance, had a nice steak dinner there. Park across the road for the kids. Room was comfortable and clean. Nice kitchenette with all the necessary utensils. Check-in was great. Staff were friendly and well-organised. Would stay again.

Needed some shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower. (We need to travel light due to flying, so we can't bring shampoo and conditioner with us.) Would have been a nice touch if there was a hair dryer too.

Good location, good for an overnight stay

No communication from staff to tell me the office would be shut due to public holiday. We arrived at 4:15 pm after driving all day, I called the number on the office door about 15 times before someone emerged and rudely pointed to keys in an envelope around the side of the building. Door needs to be able to lock properly, screen door has no latch and glass door barley locks

Overall very surprised. Had no expectations, arrived right before the reception closed. I was greeted so kindly by the lady and made me feel at home right away! We had the cabin, aircon worked, nice kitchen, no stove inside the cabin, it had a microwave. The showers and toilets were clean the whole time

Felt slightly alone, we stayed one night outside of peak period I guess.

We stayed in a cabin at the caravan park which didn’t have its own bathroom. The amenities block was situated very close to the cabins and was extremely clean and well maintained! I was so very impressed as was my hubby! The staff who checked us in were super friendly! Only stayed for one night but would be happy to stay there again for a longer period next time 😀

We really enjoyed our stay in Bowen. Our cabin was cozy and clean. The bathrooms and the pool area were clean, too. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The harbour as well as the beach are really close by. We were able to check in early.

You cannot get anywhere if you don’t have a car. The local bus only runs 3 times a day. They could not find our booking in their program. Luckily they still had a cabin that was vacant.

Good location and quiet area. The new managers were very friendly. The park is spacious with plenty of shade.

We stayed in a cabin and the door lock was difficult to use...it kept rotating! The cabins are old and need refurbishing for the prices charged.

The only minor thing I didn’t like was when you went into the toilets. There was no hooks on the doors for your clothes in the shower nor anywhere to put your pants and clothing so they didn’t get wet in the shower. Other than that the place was perfect.

lady at counter welcoming upgraded me. nice location near pubs and the seafood establishments near the wharf.

nothing really except not comfortable for watching television. I was on a long drive the next morning so I did not watch it for long as it turned out. I

I was upgraded at no charge to a cabin with a bathroom and a great view of the marina & jetty. Host was run off her feet, but so lovely and friendly.

Nothing to do with the park but the rain the next morning and having to travel Sth in it.
