Perfect location - bike hiring is good too

Can't recall if they told us that hiring a bike was $80! One of the tyres went flat, and they could not pick us up, so, we had to walk back to the hotel. What would have happened if we were further out in the Riesling trail? I guess they need to have a plan for those unforeseen situations.

Apartment was very good. For 2 couples or family. We had Apartment on the lake. Good breakfast

A little needs doing on some of the buildings. Eg grass growing in the gutters. Some needed painting . Just more care needed on outside around the appartments.

Great hot breakfast. Comfy bed. Very very clean accommodation. Great bathroom, very new.Great big well proportioned room and bathroom. Very accommodating with our requests for the room(we asked for no sofa ,carpet,nb picture), really appreciated the kind housekeeping staff. Pool was being cleaned on our first day, didn't swim but saw kids enjoying themselves the next day, a pool for mucking about, not laps. Loved our stay.

Very clean, only negative are the pigeons on the roof. Didn't bother me but is probably a hygiene issue in the longer term.

The studio room overlooking the lake was newly renovated and spacious, in a block of 4. The bathroom was very good. It's close to all Clare amenities and the food in the restaurant was good. It was too hot for golf, so the pool came in handy. Service friendly and efficient. We would go back again.

The bar and dining room overlooked the lake but had no atmosphere. A few decor tweaks and having all the tables set would improve the ambience. The pool area needed more seating, and there were no umbrellas set up, even though it was 39°C.

incredible place amazing pool luxury tennis courts great amazing friendly staff clean rooms 5 star quality with expensive furniture and expensive pillows sheets etc shampoo and conditioner body lotion amazing quality none of that cheap stuff everything was perfect I didn’t see or experience anything less than perfect food was the best very accomodating beautiful lake views I don’t know how this place isn’t 5stars best accommodation in Clare hands down!

Stay was nice. Liked the rooms provided spacious clean and comfortable. Close together was a plus as we had 5 rooms. Enjoyed the pool table room with a couple games.

Staff wasn't that friendly. The guy that checked us all in (5 rooms) seemed bothered by us being there. Felt like a inconvenience for him when checking us in. Was pretty abrupt and I expected better service than what we got. Was a little rude with one of the guest when asked for his credit card and found out it was digital on his phone only. Also was looking at using the swimming pool whilst there. Pool was pretty dirty with a lot of green waste sitting in the bottom of the pool. We didnt use the pool. $20 corkage fee for BYO was a little much.

Great modern clean room. Had all essential amenities for a family of 4. Great shower and nice hand and body wash too. My husband left a few items in our room and this was quickly organised to be posted out to us.

Breakfast had a good selection but the scrambled eggs and bacon were cold. When we got there at 8am, not much food was available at the time. Pastry sweets did not taste fresh. We waited 5 mins for anyone to serve us for check out. Not a big deal as we weren't in a hurry, but unsure where all the staff went that morning, no bell to ring either.

We stayed in a referbished room and it was really great! Was nice and clean which I love . Loved having the two TVs with the ability to sign into our streaming services. The pool was great, we were there every day! And we really liked having a kitchenette.

The kitchenette was helpful but we had to buy things like a sponge, detergent, spray and wipe etc. The only downside is there were SO MANY BUGS! Like it makes sense being by a lake, but we had to buy and use lots of bug spray and we turned the lights off in the room over night to keep it from getting too many bugs, and sprayed and sealed the doors with our stuff to prevent them from coming in.

Two bedroom apartment was great for a girls' trip! We loved that CCC accommodated our bedding arrangements of twin beds in each room. We came at an unseasonably cold weekend, but we would love to come back in warmer weather so we could enjoy use of the bikes, pool, and spend some time enjoying the view of the lake!

Kitchen could definitely do with a few more utensils - especially a platter board and some cheese knives. Would have been nice to have some board games or cards or something too. Luckily we bought some things to keep us entertained.

The room was comfortable and very accessible from both the front and back which was a real bonus. It was great to have cooking facilities and was a great space to gather as a family group in the living area. Another bonus was having a washing machine and dryer in the apartment.

There could have been a bigger bin in the kitchen, and better quality cutlery and serving utensils. A big one would have been a decent sharp carving knife and a BBQ spatula that could help clean the BBQ. We needed a dish rack and the dinner plates didn't fit into the dishwasher being too tall.
