The king bed was very comfortable. Airconditioning is first rate. The shower is a good size and the water is hot and the pressure is very strong. There is a large screen TV on the wall if you want to catch up on the news. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room too. The room, kitchen, bathroom and toilet were all very clean. There was a lot of reading material provided informing about the local attractions and wineries. We saw a mob of kangaroos feeding on the grass as we came up the hotel driveway at 9.30pm. You don't get that in the city.

There is a small step into the bathroom that you could trip over if you were not careful. A night-time trip to the sand box after a serious day of wine tasing would make the step more of a challenge.

Loved this accommodation, room was spacious with everything we could want. Bathroom, linen and kitchenette very clean. Facilities such as laundry were great, very convenient.

There was some sort of work (gutter cleaning perhaps) happening directly outside our room until 5pm on check in day, they started up around 8am the following day. The machinery involved was quite noisy and also prevented us from parking in our allocated parking spot in front of our room. Understand whatever work it was has to be undertaken at some stage, however a heads up at reception would have been appreciated; for a leisure stay it was hard to relax with it happening.

The room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable and it was good to be able to prepare our own simple breakfasts (although there was only one mug.)

The bathroom is in need of an upgrade. Grout needs a scrub and the towel holders seemed insecure. This upgrade would certainly elevate the whole experience. We had workmen all around us who needed to shower very early, so it made our room fairly noisy.

We were on a golf trip. Location was great. Plenty of room for cars and the golf buggies on trailers. Carts were easily accessible for charging.. Perfect.. All the staff were friendly and helpful.. Water pressure for showers was awesome.. Price was also good.

Mostly really good. The mattress was hard and a little uncomfortable for my liking. The pillows were either really hard or really thin. Not very comfy.. This is a little nit picky but the vanity in the bathroom,(which is nice & roomy) is too small. Plenty of room to put a nice size vaity.. Over all it is a great place to stay..

Staff very friendly & helpful. The room was tidy and clean. It was good to have a microwave and toaster to enable us to cook our own breakfast. Being a bit of a warm day it was lovely to spend some time relaxing around the swimming pool and to use the BBQ facilities provided.

I thought the price per night was a little high for accommodation that was a little dated compared to other accommodation. However in saying this it was very clean and comfortable.

Clean and tidy. Great location and the swimming pool was the best for a 40+ degree day.

The hot water system screeched so loud early in the morning- must have been when neighbouring rooms were showering. It was so loud and startling. There must have been workers staying there and the left really early in the morning and were so loud. Not the best sleep.

WiFi kept cutting out.. the whole weekend. That was really frustrating as I was trying to book tickets or on my banking app and it kept cutting out. It was very very dark outside our room when we got back at night as there was no lights. We were travelling with my parents and it was quite difficult for them to walk to to their room

It was very clean, comfortable and had a nice view. The step from the bathroom was a hazard though. It should’ve at least been marked to see in the dark. It was perfect for what we needed.

Clean and fresh situated on the edge of the town One can park the car immediately in front of the room making it easy to transfer our luggage A continental breakfast on a tray was available Our third visit there to break the journey from Adelaide

The restaurant has been closed so it was necessary to eat out in the evening. Being a bank holiday there was a limited choice of places to eat out.

We just needed somewhere to sleep, as we were attending a fully catered all day event. Room was clean and tidy, but maybe just starting to show its age. Was a little pricey, but there was very little else in Clare when we were booking.

The power sockets near the bed were limited... we could have the bed side lights and one (much needed) electric blanket working, but not both blankets at the same time.
