We stayed here on a Saturday night because we were doing one of the local ghost tours in town. They were currently in the middle of a renovation when we stayed, but that didn’t bother us. We were in a newly renovated room and it was really good. Nicely done, great bathroom, good amenities and the service was good too. The location is great because it’s a two minute walk from the main street with good local shops and restaurants. I would recommend staying here if you need somewhere in Ararat.

We only stayed one night this time, but got in late, so the managers let us know where to find our key and made sure to turn the heater on for us, so the room was warm when we got in. The location of this motel is great, with the supermarket across the road and only a short stroll to the main shops.

We had trouble with trying to get the temperature right for the shower. The cold tap was touchy and slight movement would either have it boiling hot, or freezing cold. I think it may need to be looked at, but I'm sure it's a simple fix. My only other suggestion would be for some plates and kinves/forks, as there is a toaster and microwave, but nothing to eat off or with.

It was a good place to stay. Close to everything in town. Walkable to shops and cafes pubs etc .I think we will be back water pressure was great and beds where the best.

Reverse parking of cars. We have stayed in a lot of motels they dont allow this. People in the morning start up and fill the room next door with car fumes.

Location in itself was enough for me, Close to Main St, Woolies, Maccas, garage. Close to J ward and Aradale and of course the Grampians. Hosts were fantastic even though he didn't want to talk Cricket HA HA. Rooms was spacious and the shower was magnificent. All up great place and an even better location.

Loved it all. There was road works outside the bedrooms window for one night, but that cannot be helped.

The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. A lovely big screen TV. It was right in town & close to everything. Parking spaces right outside the room. Nice warm reverse cycle air conditioning. We would come back again.

The bathroom was a little strangely set up. The only sink was in the kitchen area. But all was very clean. The motel is a little bit dated & could use an upgrade. But overall it was a very pleasant stay.

BIG room in a very well looked after 80’s motel one block from main st and across the road from Woolies. It was quiet and convenient (10 mins easy walk from Vline). Very comfortable. TV tuning issue fixed very quickly by owner. Sorry I was only staying one night. Host recommended food options: pub Sunday lamb roast was excellent!

A bit of noise from a tour bus (tourists in hotel) on arrival, but that is all.

Chose for the location , and friends have stayed before for same reason. It’s central to town . The room is spacious :) there’s car parking etc.

Lacked a few essential items: there’s a toaster and microwave but no cutlery or plates or glasses..? No dish cloth but there’s a tea towel.. I stayed 2 nights and after the first night the bathroom was cleaned and the face washers disappeared but weren’t replaced - just thought a bit odd.

Location was fantastic. Check in and check out were easy and efficient. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were old, but clean. Beds were comfortable. We couldn’t get any hot water at night, but showers were hot in the morning and water pressure was great. Would definitely stay again!! Great accommodation and value for money.

A little bit cleaner - bathroom wall had some brown stuff on it up high. Rooms were a little dated. But value for money and overall cleanliness was good.

Convenient location, nice table & chairs to eat from.

Disappointing breakfast options. One would expect to have eggs/bacon option on the menu. Baked beans/spagetti options on toast down grades the motel. Also Unit 1 parking space could not be accessed.

Great for the price of the room. Beds were not too bad and had electric blankets and heater was awesome.

For the money there was nothing we really didn't like. Was good location for what we were there for.
