Philadelphia Motel was a great place to stay! The new owners are renovating the motel having bought it in late 2022. Our large room had new flooring, a massive TV, a new air conditioner that worked superbly well (much better than a lot of aircons in other motels in Echuca). The motel was very quiet, we couldn't hear other guests. Although not walking distance to the main shops, it didn't bother us as it was only a couple of minutes drive. This motel has cheap rates and we were extremely impressed with what we got for the price. Highly recommend this motel!!

When I arrived the gentleman was very pleasant and welcoming. Parking was directly outside my room. Very comfortable and plenty of room to move around. Large bathroom and clean hot shower. Situated in good position to depart the next morning on my next days journey. I did note that a form was left stating that they had recently taken over accommodation, and asked customers to let staff know if anything was missing or how they could improve. At the reception office one could purchase items such as drinks or chips, etc.if needed.

I appreciated that the room was pet friendly and that there was no additional charge for pets. There was a grassy playground area (although unkept) right at the back. There was a big grassy easement out the front, next to the road. Staff very friendly. Minimal road traffic noise even though motel is on a busy road.

Room not serviced daily which contradicted booking.com. Didn’t bother us as not needed. House keeping lady was quick to offer me supplies when I actively asked for things to be replenished for my 3 day stay. On our last night, 3 female teens/ young adults checked in next door and we endured loud music for a few hours which thankfully stopped when they went out for drinks. They returned at 12:30am with a male and continued to have a great time until 2am. There was zero regard for their neighbours. From what I observed during my 3 nights here, most customers are travelling through and stay 1 night so need to be able to sleep well. These negatives are minor and ultimately I would stay here again because it's a decent room, pet friendly and reasonable priced for what it is.

I am extremely fussy when it comes to cleanliness. I always wipe everything with Detol wipes before we settle in. The Philadelphia Motor Inn exceeded my expectations. It was one of the cleanest motels we have ever stayed in. As a bonus, the room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. This was our second time staying here, and we would recommend it to anyone wanting a very clean and comfortable motel.

Good location, has all you need in a motor inn, great shower, couch and bed were comfortable. Has good coffee/tea etc making facilities . Pool clean and relaxing. Quiet location,no noise from the road could be heard.

A bit older and a bit run down but owners are taking steps to improve facilities. The older building means there is slight issues with windows/doors not fitting snuggly but quiet hours mean noise is fairly minimal

The room was very clean and nice white sheets on the bed which was very comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally large and easy to move around in. It was also nice and clean and no mold in the shower.

The motel was a little outdated but in good condition considering it's age. It was a little away from the centre of Echuca. Our friends were staying more central so we had to use the car all the time.

Staff were lovely. Location was great. Room was clean. Would definitely stay here again. The managers only recently took over and are apparently beginning to update.

Shower was over the bath which was not ideal for us over 60's. Bathroom was huge so definitely room for both separate shower and bath. Fridge was old and noisy, needs replacing.

Clean bedding, and all required necessities such as kettle tea fridge wifi TV were great. There were also extra pillows if needed. Heating and cooling were available but we didn't use it.

Toilet and parts of the shower could have been cleaner, but I only stayed one night and didn't shower so it was fine

Arrived late and found out I had booked on the wrong night. They were fully occupied but managed to find us a room. So grateful as we had driven from Adelaide. Facilities were great, comfortable bed and very clean. Easy parking outside the room. Breakfast was available if we wanted. The in room directory was full of all the information you needed.

Internet was slow but that was explained as having copper cables instead of fibro-optic like the city. Good old Victorian Government! Not sure if our neighbours were particularly loud but the snoring did penetrate into our room☹️

Larry and Ange at the Philadelphia Motor Inn where wonderful we where arriving late Friday night as arranged However Larry called us when we where about an hour away to say he had gone to our room and put a light on so we would have to arrive in the dark Milk in the fridge ect we wonted to order breakfast thought we might be late but no he told us where to leave the order so we could get our beautifully cooked breakfast Ange and Larry are the type of people that when you meet them you feel like you have known them of a long time I wouldn't stay any where else in Echuca so get in early because there is a reason this place is always booked out Thank you both again for a wonderful stay See you next time
