Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a great dinner downstairs & a fabulous coffee next morning b4 I hit the road. The shared bathroom was spotless & the towel supplied was good quality. The bunk mattress was very comfy & I woke up refreshed.

Booked theilast room with a double bed online on the day as was too tired to drive 2 hrs home but b4 my booking could reach 6 Degrees, it was booked in person by another guest so staff kindly found me a backup room but it only had bunk beds & no TV. Found it difficult to fall asleep with another bed looming just over my head but did drop off eventually. 😊

After hours check-in option and instructions worked well – was very convenient after a long day on the road and arriving into the night. Great staff – friendly and professional. Interesting classic oldschool feel to the hotel. Room was quite basic but clean – good for a night or two. Shared facilities close by were clean and tidy. Location in the heart of Albany was great.

Not much in the way of powerpoints in the room to charge phone etc. Parking around the back wasn't the easiest to find at all, especially after dark, because you had to go quite a way around the block, and the sign for the Six Degrees car park (next to two others) was only clearly visible driving in one direction (east) on the opposite side of the road. But there was some on street parking outside the front door, and I was OK there until 11am as it's 2P parking between 9am and 6pm. Some text instructions/directions for the car park for after hours arrivals would be great, however, there was an after hours number to call if I really needed assistance.

Close proximity to the Bus Station. Nice building and location. Helpful, friendly staff. Room was small but comfortable, nice bed,Tv,fridge with clean shared kitchen facilities, kettle and microwave and a clean shared bathroom and showers. Nice pub downstairs with some good music.during week and weekend. Would stay again!

Not much really. Suited my needs for 5 nights If you are expecting a quiet hotel it isn't that with the music downstairs but it's made clear and they do leave earplugs in your room. Other than that it was good.

Great value for money: cheaper than a hostel private room yet cleaner and more private. Good location opposite the bus and train station. Comfortable bed and room. Clean, good sized shared bathroom with hot water (equivalent to a good campsite bathroom block). Small kitchen with kettle, toaster and microwave, sufficient for breakfast, takeaway and reheating meals. More of a gastropub downstairs than I was expecting. I experienced only low level noise that didn't keep me awake: more from the beer garden outside than the bands inside.

The box rooms are small, fine for a single person but it would be a squeeze for a couple with luggage. Decor in the room could be improved: some patches that need repainting etc.

We have stayed here a few times. This was the first time we have stayed in a family room as there were the 3 of us. The room has a double bed and a bunk bed so we could have had 4 if we paid the difference. The room was very nice. Very clean and even had a nice window with a view. The window could be opened for a bit of ventilation but but fully opened. There was a area at the end of the hall for making tea and coffee. There was also a toaster. Downstairs on the next level was about small kitchen that had a microwave if needed. The location is great. Lots of places to eat and drink are within easy walking distance.

The only fault was the bed as was a bit too soft for our liking. Some may find it perfect but we tend to like firmer beds

The room was comfortable - comfortably warm, enough space for 2 people. The bathrooms were super clean and the showers had good pressure. Noise from the bar downstairs stopped at about 11pm or so, and it was super quiet after that. Location was good.

Not really a complaint - The kitchen advertised is not a full kitchen - it's only a microwave and hot water kettle. Only cutlery was some butter knives, and only small plates (the ones that go under a coffee cup). We bought some food to cook expecting there to be an actual kitchen, so we had to store it in the fridge (luckily we had a fridge in the room) until we moved to the next place. Would suggest they don't advertise it as a kitchen, it's more coffee facilities with a microwave.

I really liked everything about my stay. The beer garden was a nice place to have a drink after arriving and it was cool they were hosting live music that night. The room was neat and tidy. The facilities were also very clean and no problems with access. The reception staff were very friendly and had great customer service. I would stay at this location again when visiting Albany.

On our last night we were out having a drink and walked back to our accommodation for dinner. We called ahead and were advised the kitchen would be closing shortly. We said no worries and just grabbing a bite before heading up to our rooms. Upon arrival we were told "The kitchen is closing in 10 minutes, so make it quick". I don't think much more needs to be said as to why we were both upset being greeted like that but I hope higher level of customer service is taken in future.

The location is fantastic, not to mention the view from the outside area at the front of the hotel. Walking distance to an IGA too. For the location, the price is excellent. Shared bathroom was really clean also.

It got a little warm in the room and there isn't air con, just little fans and the windows don't let a lot of air through. But this was the middle of summer. It wouldn't be an issue for the rest of the year.

Accom was in an excellent location, very central and easy to get around places. Was super easy to access at any time of day. The room were clean and the area well looked after. Was a decent price. Good place to stay on a budget!

Lots of noise, exactly as expected and mentioned in the booking, beware. Seemed very busy when I was there and shared bathrooms ended up a little messy but that's a people problem.. No heater seemed to be in the room, but the place was quite well temperate. Was not as cheap as you would expect for the downsides, but still a great cheapish option.

Excellent value and location. Good meals, excellent breakfast in the bar and friendly capable staff. Clean with basic facilities. Room is very small but functional with fridge and TV. Close to theatres and bars. Tea, coffee kettle and toaster in small communial kitchen. Good hot showers. There is live music most weekends, so don't expect a quiet sleep before 11pm, earplugs provided! Not a negative for us, nice to hear live music.
