This lovely hotel looks just as good as it does in the photos. It has a perfect balance of tradition and modern touches and everything is of a very high standard! The staff were very nice, friendly and looked after us well. They were also very kind and understanding when we got the timing of our dinner reservation wrong and the kitchen was closing. The food is absolutely fantastic, would highly recommend the goulash! Breakfast is brought to your table and the variety is excellent. The location is also great and the views are spectacular! We would love to return if ever back in the area.

A book in the room with information (for example restaurant menu, kitchen opening hours, breakfast times, check out times) would have been great however we received this information when we asked so not a big problem :)

Very nicely located, but take into account that if you arrive by bicycle ( as we did ) after a day ride coming from Salzburg, you need to climb for 3km on average at 8%. But it is worth the effort! Nice view over the valley! Moreover, we arrived on Monday, when the restaurant is closed, but the owner was so kind to prepare anyhow a nice meal for us. The breakfast was very good. In conclusion: after a very good stay we were prepared to start another day of biking along the CycloVia Alpe2Adria.

We stayed at Burglhoh for 5 nights! What can we say? The location is unbeatable overlooking the Austrian Alps, the rooms and facility are sparkling clean, comfortable, and cozy! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed traveling with our 9-month-old, including booking a COVID-19 test for us to get back to the U.S. Sabrina went above and beyond! The food is incredible, simply delicious, all sourced locally - high cuisine! We loved so much staying at Burglhoh, we loved Austria and no doubt we'll be back and stay here again, what incredible memories we made during this vacation. This family-owned hotel had everything we were looking for to enjoy some relaxing family time! Thanks for everything!

Comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated room. The views from the room are breathtaking. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating. The food is exceptional. Highly recommended.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The room is very big, clean, and great facilities. The hotel area is very beautiful. After long drive and checked in, we made a walk in the forest, then had dinner at hotel’s restaurant. The food was very delicious. Also breakfast is very great.

Absolutely fantastic calm place to relax and spend time. Owners (family) were really nice and helpful and the meals they cook and serve are so tasteful.

The only thing we missed as a family with small kids was a fridge in the room.

The staff was great, the view was wonderful and it was very peaceful. Recommend for everyone to come here.

It would be great bonus to have English version of menu for non-German speakers.
