Not only was the actual building well designed but the wellness facilities (sauna and pool) were exceptional. Havjng a sauna with a view is certainly a better experience than sitting in a dark box The hotel was very clean and couldn’t be faulted, in fact there were always staff cleaning something the rooms were well designed and the Nespresso machines were a nice touch, but you can ask for a kettle if you need it- in fact any extras were readily available on request. one big plus was the sound proofing, there are several popular bars close by but with the windows shut you cannot hear them at all

If you stay in the main building (above the bar) then you have to make use of the boot room in the adjacent buildings the bar menu (in terms of food) is very limited but the breakfasts in the hotel were ideal if you wanted something light. the restaurant that is a stones throw from the hotel has a bigger menu (and the breakfast buffet is extensive for the price)

Tirol Lodge is an outstanding choice of accommodation in Ellmau. It's ideally located, with beautiful and easily accessible surroundings. The staff are courteous and helpful; they consistently go out of their way to maximise guest comfort. The accommodation itself is extremely comfortable and well-equipped. The pool and sauna facilities represent an excellent opportunity for relaxation and unwinding. Tirol Lodge also exudes a warm and welcoming ambiance, contributing greatly to the overall positive experience.

Amazing clean and beautifully designed facilities in the middle of an Alpine village, right next to a gondola lift that takes parents, kids and even dogs up to the mountain, where there are splendid playgrounds and cafes. There is a lovely hall with TV and fireplace and panoramic windows, a small outdoors pool with seating and hammocks all around it. Parents can order light snacks and drinks next to the pool. The hotel welcomes dogs. There is also parking and a sports shop, more bars and restaurants within waling distance.

Most staff do not speak English, but they try to understand what you want :)

The location was perfect. The hotel feels quite modern but perfectly cosy. Rooms just right for a ski holiday. Great facilities from equipment rooms to swimming pool. Lounge restaurant was fantastic and staff all very friendly and helpful. Resort of Ellmau and the rest of Skiwelt/wilderkaiser is very good for all levels. Brilliant all round

Only slight downside is the separate Tirol bar and Grill restaurant. Only went once (it's in a separate building at the lift station). Didn't go back as it was not great at all. Service and food both lacking. Luckily didn't need to go back as the bar/restaurant in the hotel was much nicer, as was the restaurant at the top of the mountain.

nicely furnished, love the wooden style. nice outside area as well, good drinks and free parking in the garage.

This time there was a larger group (approx. 20-25 people) of Bayern Munich fans in the hotel, probably celebrated some kind of jubilee of their fan club. They were very noisy and we did not have the feeling that the hotel was calming them down or asked them to be more quiet. In the end, we left the bar and took our drink to the room. I would not expect such kind of groups in this hotel.

The location is second to none. Good athmosfere, friendly staff, nice beds, good view. great sauna and pool. Relaxing and low key enviroment.

Food is not very good. The reception offers a quick breakfast, at a high price. In the piste-located Bar&Grill the food redicilously bad! Same cafeteria-quality as on the mountain. Not what’s expected in a resort of this quality. Breakfast-buffet is poor and uninspirreringly arranged, low selection and very expensive. skip it, or grab a croissant in the lobby. Could be such a treat! but completely misses the ball in this area. such a shame.

Friendly staff , night check-in is ok. Very nice territory, charming interior and exterior design. Fast elevators, vending machines with snacks. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with coffee machine, fridge, lot of shelfs. Breakfast was really good - fresh juices, tasty coffee, big variety of food. Distance to the nearest ski slope was about 20-25 steps from our room) SPA was nice - big room for a big companies , high temperature and stunning view sauna, nice and hot outside swimming pool.

We were enjoying almost whole stay: first of all we enjoyed sauna and spa. It located on the roof of main building and has amazing view to the mountains. We set alone and saw how snow flakes are playing and falling down. Swimming in the open pool after - priceless. The whole hotel is well designed, in every detail you are enjoying interior design and decor.

Staff wasn't very helpful not on the arrival nor during our check out communication. I have to ask 3 times for the invoice. I seems not too much air in lobby restaurant and sauna, I felt like I couldn't breath freely. Breakfast was ok, but dinner was regular and overpriced for that quality. I wan't go to this place during high season, because I wouldn't enjoy facilities as we did.

Clean and stylish hotel, nice wellness area and pool was also a plus

But for the package you get, it was a bit too expensive. Plus breakfast that was priced additionally was the absolute bare minimum (gas station quality). During winter time, fair price regarding location (directly at lift) but during summer time, pictures lie a bit (blend out huge parking area in front of it).

Room was very comfy and clean, staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the sauna, the pool and the great views! It’s also just beside the cable car and there’s plenty of parking space. Breakfast was delicious, but paid separately.

For the price of the hotel, the room was missing some facilities. There was a coffee machine and a bottle of water, but no tea/water heater. The bathrobe and slippers are also not included in the price - which we did not expect since many hotels offer them. Also, we could not find a phone in our room, so the only way to communicate with reception was walking down there personally.
