Perfect hotel in centre of Kaprun. Walking distance to the Maiskogelbahn. No need to use ski bus. Very good food, we definitely recommend half-board. Spa center nice but in the time of our stay, Finnish sauna was out of order so the spa was a bit crowded. View of Kitzsteinhorn was just amazing.

During check-in I would expect question if we are there for the first time. No one explained us where is ski storage, how to get to the spa, that the bath robes are not in the room but you have to ask for them in the reception, how the half-board is organized etc. Such basic information when you arrive would definitely improve first impression.

Having driven, it was so convenient to pull into front of hotel to unload and check in. Car parking below the hotel is dry and snow free with lift connection up to hotel. Breakfast was superb, rooms and all staff excellent and pool facilities were lovely. Hotel was warm, hot water was plentiful and bathroom was really modern Reception staff were particularly helpful - went above and beyond as we needed help for some logistics for our daughter who wasn't even staying with us in hotel. Printed off boarding passes etc - nothing was too much trouble and all down with warm smile. Housekeeping team were similarly efficient but really friendly.

The bar lacks a little atmosphere - and I didn't like that spa users were free to come for ski snacks in bathrobes in the bar. Didn't feel terribly hygienic in some way! Food was delicious but a little too elaborate - one simpler menu choice would have been great per evening (we were half board) Really picking here - but lighting in sink area of bathroom wasn't great for shaving/make up. But so minor!

The spa is excellent. Breakfast buffet is great. The rooms are a good size and very well maintained. Very clean. The location of the hotel is great for skiing.

The dinner choices seem a little too fancy and we would have preferred a slightly simpler menu. Unfortunately the large sauna was out of use which made the other saunas quite busy at times.

Room was a little hot would be nice to be able to control the temperature. We did sleep with window/door open slightly The shower over the bath was ok but a more modern bathroom with better shower and more water pressure would have been even better The main evening meals were great for the adults in our group we really liked them but the teenagers on some occasions struggled to find anything they liked. More vegetables would have been great.

We have been going skiing to Austria, France and Italy for years, so I can say with a clear conscience, that this is the best hotel, we have stayed...so far :) It offers absolutely everything. Spacious rooms, delicious food and the wellness area exceeded our expectations. The ladies at the reception were very helpful, smiling. Very big plus for the fact, that the prices of all additional things like parking fee, cost of extra drinks in the restaurant, are not excessive. Bravo, congratulations and thank you for our stay. We will definitely be back

The worst wifi i saw. In 21st century it must be at least normal wifi. Parking garage is ok but for small car. At one evening i need 15 min to park my car, but not becouse i am a bed driver, then there are too small parking places

Central location, parking, excellent food, nice staff, quiet, amazing room with a bay overlooking the mountains (the room we got), excellent spa.

Strong smell of chlorine in the inside pool, outdated decoration in the lobby.

Nice hotel in the central of Kaprun and easy transportation to anywhere , The hotel suit is very good with private balcony , The spa and swimming pool are excellent facilities .We were half board for 3 nights and the family really enjoyed the food , amazing staff very helpful. highly recommend
