I really enjoyed my stay at Bergers Sport Hotel. I liked the quirky retro interior. Our room was decorated nicely. We had a balcony room at the front (our choice), which can be a bit noisy but I was not bothered by it. The staff were excellent especially Laura at reception who did whatever she could to make our stay comfortable. Location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance from ski lifts and night life. The swimming pool was a good size and we enjoyed the sauna. Buffet breakfast was excellent and the dinner was also very good. I loved the family portraits and the history behind the hotel. There is a separate bar and restaurant for the public which we could view from our cosy place on the balcony dinner table that we had. Really liked this part of the hotel with the enormous chandelier. A touch of glamour!

Very good location in the center of Saalbach. Very friendly service. Distance to three mountain railways from 100 to 300 meters from the hotel. In summer, the Jocker Card guaranteed free use of the mountain railways in the Saalbach Valley.

Immediately felt at home at this hotel. Amazing staff, Tom was one of the most friendly guys I’ve ever met. Would definitely come again to this hotel.

Pool water temperature.

The breakfast at the property was very good and ideal to prepare for a day skiing. The hotel was very central in a small town and beds very comfortable although 2 single beds pushed together .

Our room was in a building separate to the main hotel which was no problem. However, the compacted snow around the entrance to this building was incredibly slippy and wasn't cleared for the full duration of our stay (a week) although the entrance around the main hotel was cleared. Had it been cleared it would have made a significant impact on access to the building.

Location is fantastic, house keepers do a great job and are really friendly. The breakfast team are very friendly and the big guy always said good morning and asked if I was well. Very friendly welcome from Serge!!

Pillows are terrible, hot water doesn't last long, service in restaurant in the evening is shocking, we went once and recommended you dine in the hotel even less. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast is a strong 4/10, very mediocre. You get the impression you are an inconvenience to the restaurant manager...
