One slight downside - the bike locker room is a bit small, has a rack for about 12-15, so we had to stack our bikes against a wall, and it wasn't the busiest cycling weekend of the year. And the ramp leading down to it, with the door right next to the bottom, is pretty steep and slippery for either riding down - do not try to brake at the bottom of the ramp, our friend came a cropper - roll on through and come back, and for walking up. But the fact it's there at all is very helpful.

absolutely love this hotel. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. It is modern, very clean and very cool. Right in the heart of the town, everything is accessible within short walking distance. We went for the Retro Ronde vintage cycle weekend and we have been before and this place never fails to disappoint. Super friendly staff too and great breakfast.

It was over 30 degrees this weekend and we could get the air con to stay below 20 degrees in the room, so it was a bit hot.

The room was lovely. The bar area is nice with plenty of Belgian beers available. A quick walk into the centre of Oudenaarde. We came back to this hotel after a v disappointing stay in the Ardennes. It was a relief to be back in a civilised place. Staff are lovely too.

A more extensive menu at the Bistro and the hotel would be a 10.

The major problem was that there was a huge festival outside the hotel which involved extremely loud music until 0300 am. The hotel staff were kind and allocated us a room at the rear of the buiding- but it was of little benefit. You could easily hear the noise.Booking.com should have had this information to alert guests as to the potential noise issues......

The location is perfect for cyclists. The staff are really helpful and very polite. Breakfast was excellent and the bistro was good. It was really handy for dropping into the town for a drink and a wander next to the river. The studio is well stocked with glasses, and and cutlery. The fridge was very handy for keeping the excellent Belgian beers chilled.

Sink was a bit slow to drain but this was a minor issue

Excellent location in the centre of Oudenaarde and next to the Schelde river and cycle route. Also had a storage room for bicycles it was perfect for a base to explore Flanders by bike. Buffet Breakfast was great and staff were very helpful.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location - within walking distance of the centre and the riverside cycle path. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good beers are available at the bar. Breakfast is good too.

Just a detail - reserved a place in the restaurant but when I got there I heared the cook was unavailable. A warning would have been nice.
