Our suite, and the hotel common areas were clean and in good repair. We had a late bite the night of arrival, and breakfast in the restaurant. The food was excellent, and there was an adequate selection. The furniture and design of our room was incredible! The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. There was no air conditioning in the room, but it was comfortable with the windows open. I would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing I could think of that we did not like. The property was beautiful.

The room was beautiful. As was the bathroom. Fantastic building and stunning gardens.

We arrived downstairs on Friday morning at 9.20 only to be told breakfast could not be served since the staff had already been sent home. We were told that we hadn't reserved it in advance and hence could not have breakfast at the otherwise outstanding property. The same applied to the restaurant and bar. Sadly the restaurant was booked out, the bar was not in operation due to lack of staff. Not customer friendly.

The renovated castle is amazing. The restaurant (bistro) has very tasty dishes. You can also rent an e-bike to see the area around the property. There is also a private wellness but better to book it well ahead.

The wellness facility is private (which is good), but it was almost fully booked upon our arrival. Therefore we could only use it for only one late slot in the last evening before we leave (during our three night stay). The system should be organised so that there are at least a few slots available when guests arrive.

The breakfast was lovely. Very nice service and good selection. Complementary champagne on the buffet! The castle is gorgeous! Everything was beautiful and new. The bistro’s food was fabulous.

We only came for Sunday night and had wanted to have a drink in the bar but it wasn’t open because the staff of the restaurant, which wasn’t open for Sunday dinner, also ran the bar and they were off duty. I think they should have additional personnel to keep the bar open, even if just to pour a glass of wine or beer.

The property itself was absolutely gorgeous with a lot of greenery around it. The room was super comfortable (and we got a free upgrade!), with a huge bathroom. The sauna and spa are also included in the room rate. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful weekend and did not want to leave :) Looking forward to staying here again!

The weather was beautiful and it would have been great to have outdoor seating/lounge areas (other than the few tables at the Bistro). The food at the Bistro was also not amazing.

A great location, really a castle inside and out, with plenty of new details to discover both in the suite and every time we walked around in the premises. Very friendly staff, always ready to help. Clean rooms. A king-size bed in the main room of the suite and 2 separate beds in the smaller room.

Not enough hooks in the bathroom for the towels. The breakfast was pricey and the selection did not quite correspond to the price, even if champagne was included in the price.

Perfect Place to stay, very nicely decorated with clasiccal theme. Castle was beautiful with character and history. Unfortunately, we did not stay for too long otherwise we would love to have enjoyed the facilities such as restaurant, spa and sauna etc. But top place to stay in the region.

Breakfast was a bit expensive Euro 30 by any standard for breakfast is expensive.

The grandiose,the park,the food in the restaurant (but not the service), and the breakfast and breakfast room and the man and lady were very helpful and pleasant.

-Our bedroom although it was rich in furniture and decor but it was very crowded with probably the old items of the Kasteel! I recommend to the owner to make a small museum somewhere in the hotel and collect all extra furniture from the rooms an put them in the museum. -I did not like the idea of the receptionist serving us dinner in the restaurant!! Also the head waiter needs to be more relaxed regardless of what is going on in the kitchen! -Waiting for the new Spa and swimming pool!

We liked the ambience. We liked the possibility to enjoy a meal at the 1* restaurant and we enjoyed meeting the chef Gary Kirchens. We liked the quiet, well decorated room. In all we stayed 3 days longer than originally planned.

Access to the Internet was below our expectation. Speed was slow and the over all streaming was poor considered the standard of the hotel.

The history is awesome. The ground’s beautiful. The pub was only open but the food was great. The furniture, fixtures and secret underground graffiti walkway was great. We loved the old with the new
