Arrived about 0830 after a long overnight journey from France. So tired I could hardly speak English far less French. I had a few accommodation problems at other hostels that I hoped to resolve. The girl on reception spoke little English, but tried her best, even offering google translate on her phone, which I declined. As my dorm was empty I was allowed to check in early, which I appreciated so much. Then when I felt refreshed enough to communicate in French what help I sought with other hostel bookings the girl sorted everything rapidly. Absolutely super service from her. The other staff I encountered briefly were very pleasant too.

I sort of accept there will be music in the breakfast room. It was just a bit too loud here. A very small complaint all things considered.

Good value if you are a group of friends sharing and only looking for a simple place to sleep. (We came to watch Rugby in nearby Lille) Whilst been a cheap and basic hostel it was clean and well kept. Location was good, right next to the center where there are plenty of restuarants and bars and only a short walk to the train station.

Room had a en-suite shower and basin, but no toilet, which was a bit strange. Towels weren't included, but at least you get them down at reception for a extra fee.

We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children, so we had a room to ourselves with en suite shower. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful - would definitely go back.

Breakfast finished at 9.30am which was a bit earlier than we would have liked. We would have appreciated being able to stay and have some more coffee for another half hour or so.

Great location close to the centre, nice secure gated garden for storing my motorcycle, decent breakfast and clean room.

Took a while to find reception to check in so was waiting around for some time (in mid afternoon). But once they arrived they were very helpful and check in process was fine.

Clean room on the top floor for the building. It was very warm, but it was a hot summer day and its a hostel after all so just a heads up - don't be expecting fans or air-conditioning! Breakfast was continental and perfectly decent for being included in the price. For a hostel, it was great - so as long as you keep that in mind when booking, you'll be very happy with this accommodation!

Beautiful and decent old house and wonderful wooden floors. Good location, just behind the marktplaats and historic site. Breakfast simply and delicious ( must be improve with Croissant and Baguette) Just one types of cheese 🧀

Nice socialising/smoking/outside seating area. Well laid out and welcoming, plenty of space to relax. Communal kitchen in good order.

Can't blame the hostel for their guests but ended up sharing with a rather thoughtless champion snorer

Breakfast was very good and a wide choice. The location was very good. The price was good. Check-in and check-out worked really easily. The facility was perfect for students with foosball etc. Very clean

The room was more like a prison cell with green walls and a window so high up you couldn't see outside. The room really was the only negative.

It's literally the best hostel I've ever been. It's clean, comfy, the breakfast was really good. It exceeded my expectations for sure. Definitely will recommend this place.
