Property is beautiful and well maintained. The views are wonderful. Breakfast is diverse and delicious. The restaurant overall was very good. The restaurant staff wonderful. The front of house staff varied. Some speak English well, others barely. I had booked the main suite (master suite) online. They claimed I have booked one of the junior suites, which are nice, but not what I was expecting. There we three suites advertised, I picked the most expensive one, assuming it was the main suite. But no. Very strange and no apologies. If you want the main suite, you have to ask and book the master suite and receive confirmation with it mentioned in the email, otherwise you are out of luck.

The view is amazing, the room has a warm little pool in the inside, the staff was really great and the restaurant is amazing.

It has no parking lot, so for me that was travelling with my private car was a everyday concern to find available parking in the street.

Wonderful staff and location. All the staff could not have been better and more helpful. The view of the town was stunning.

I am afraid the restaurant was not very good. I went for dinner the first night, and the food quality was average at best and expensive. Steak Tartare, my favourite meal, was bland and not worth having. The breakfast was OK, but there were little changes each day to what was on offer, which was a shame. Again staff were excellent and helpful.

A great location, elevated from the beach road, giving excellent views from breakfast, and the pool area. Beautifully designed, and finished throughout. The staff were outstanding, friendly and professional.

The breakfast was disappointing in respect of the hot service, I requested poached eggs the first morning and received a single egg balanced on a piece of bread no larger than the egg. I would have expected/preferred, a place of this size to have a small area set aside for a gym.

Beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms and excellent facilities. One of the best locations in Buzios. The pool decks are amazing with fantastic views! Moreover, the service and people who work here make this exceptional! They are super friendly and very customer focused..Hope to be back!

Vila d'este is a beautiful pousada with stunning views of Búzios. We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and stayed in the executive suite with jacuzzi on the balcony. It was absolutely incredible. The views over the bay were spectacular. This room has a private staircase outside with access to the main street. This was very convenient and it feels very private. The breakfast was very good with a great selection. We had dinner in the hotel on the first evening, the wine and steak were excellent. The staff were very professional, attentive and had excellent English which was a major bonus for me. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Vila d'este is more expensive than some of the other pousada's in the area and the dinner was more expensive than what you would pay at the local restaurants but this does also have the benefit of the pousada being more exclusive.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous boutique hotel. Definitely recommend choosing the room with the private jacuzzi - worth the additional cost. Perfect location if you want ease of walking to the town for restaurants or shopping. This hotel was the highlight of my Brazil Trip, even after staying at Fasano and Copacabana Palace in Rio. Already planning my trip back. My only complaint is not staying longer!!

Great location with amazing views and delicious restaurant! Best rooftop view for a bar in Búzios. Great events outside like live music and DJ which elevates the experience in the hotel. Room was nice and spacious.

Unfortunately, we had some issues with the room but the staff made up for it by giving us additional care

Room is very comfortable, good privacy, the bed is huge, all new furnishing, spotless clean, exclusive breakfast with a lot of variety and everything is freshly prepared, top quality service, heated swimming pool and sauna with sunset view, very attentive staff and always available.

No car parking.

A lovely boutique hotel in a great location with far reaching views across the bay. Service in the restaurant was excellent as was breakfast, especially the cakes……

Could do with one or two more comfortable seating options around the pool with shade.
