I had a wonderful experience staying at this hostel in the vibrant Liberdade neighborhood, a lively hub with a strong Japanese influence. What stood out the most were the plentiful dining options, which offered an array of delectable and diverse food choices. The staff at the hostel were friendly( Hugo and Thor), attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. They added a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. One aspect of the stay I found incredibly convenient was the proximity to the metro station. This made it incredibly easy to explore the city and all its charming offerings. The breakfast was just enough to kick-start our day on a high note, serving a variety of options to cater to different tastes. Lastly, the comfort level of the accommodation was on point. After long days exploring the city, it was always a relief to come back to a space that felt like a home away from home.

Location is very central, right at Japao-Liberdade metro station and in the beautiful japanese quarter. The bunk beds were comfortable with good headspace and curtains, sockets and light for each bed. Lockers for valuables and a spacious and clean room. Kitchen was fairly well equipped for basic cooking, though no cooking oil was provided. Free laundry, though hanging space was limited.

There were only 2 bathrooms which can be complicated with peak hour use. Bed assignment was bizzare. For some reason on my last 3 nights the hostel assigned someone to the bunk directly above me when 4 other beds in the room were free - the guests should have been spread out with so much space rather than squeezed into one set of bunks.

The location was great for exploring the city as it was right beside a metro station. The hostel was always kept really clean and the staff were super friendly. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped considering it is quite small.

In general, the hostel was small. We stayed here twice, once in a dorm which was quite spacious, but the second time was a twin room with a bunk bed which felt very cramped for two grown adults. We felt the hostel seriously lacked a proper chill out space to socialise - there's only a small couch and a few chairs right by reception desk or a tiny dining room by the kitchen.

Good enough breakfast, showers that are hot! Spacious dormitories,most central of locations,with a cafe/bar downstairs, 3 minutes from liberdade metro, 5 mins from Se cathedral.

The location is very good, close to the station. The owner is friendly and kind. The facilities and environment are adequate for this price

I enjoyed a lot at hostel Liberdade and I certainly plan to come back. The atmosphere is just great. The people who work there will help you with anything and I met some really great people.

Sometimes it could get quite hot at night. An extra fan could have been useful

The location is great, the price is very affordable, and the room is clean. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, especially Robson himself. He is always smile and trying to solve any problems of the guests. He speaks some English, it's quite helpful in a Portuguese-speaking city! I love the breakfast made by Robson too! Delicious😋

Nice cozy hostel with friendly staff and good breakfast.

Unfortunately, it's very close to the dangerous neighborhood of Sé. Even when going back at dark by uber, there were weird people hanging around the hostel.

1.The staff is so nice and helpful. The roommates are very friendly. 2.place to wash clothes and hang 3.close to Liberdade , quiet neighborhood 4.The bed is soft and clean 5. Everyone has a bug closet to put things

1. Please add a shelf for every bed, so I can put things on bed. It will be more convenient Just remind , better take a locker with you, to lock your closet

Robson is super nice and helpful , he doesn’t speak English but he is trying his best to help for everything with Google translation! Thank you very much ! The location is very good , nearby many landmarks and there is a metro next door!
