great villas, place and great beach.. staff dont speak english properly and food & services not the best.

They should improve their breakfast and food options. Add black tea, fresh bread. In their Vegetarian menu I found 2 times chicken and 1 time crab… Coconuts are everywhere there on the palms, but they often did not have enough to serve. And prices are very expensive. You go behind the hotel and everything is 3-5 times cheaper.

The place is absolutely beautiful. The villa was amazing (grand villa). It was huge, clean and the housekeeping staff made sure that everything was perfect. All of the staff were above and beyond. Everyone were so sweet and attentive. The breakfast was good and we liked the gym.

We went as a couple to find peace and tranquility. However, this place is quite small and compact which means that you will hear all sounds around you. And this place was packed with (very loud) children, we felt like we lived in a kids Club. We were not able to relax, even in our own pool. If you are going on holiday to relax and have peace and quiet I would probably not recommend this place. But if you have children, you and your kids will have a good time

We loved it here and we are definitely coming back. We were supposed to stay in Koh Kood for 8 nights and then move on to Koh Chang for another 6 nights, and so we did. After spending 2 nights in Koh Chang i called back to Highseason and booked another villa and came back for another 3 nights. The location is central, the beach is impeccable, the villas have great vibe and the stuff is warm and helpful. I wanna thank everyone for making this holidays perfect for our family and promise we will be back soon. Everything was great

The staff was really exceptionally helpful. Extensive breakfast buffet with choice of Asian and European food. The beach has fine sand and gently slopes into the water. There are sufficient recliners and sitting possibilities in shadow in the beach area. Our villa had a small private pool, ideally for kids to play in with full privacy. We also liked the big stone thai bathtub in our villa. Everything was well maintained and clean. We were sent off by a car of the resort to the ferry and even picked up at the mainland and brought back to the waiting area of our ferry company.

There is one restaurant in the resort and another one or two within walking distance. If you want a different choice, you need to go by motorbike or "public transport". This was not a problem for us, but you need to be aware. I also assume this is a general issue on this island as the small main road stretches through hilly area and restaurants are distributed along this road.

Had a wonderful stay at High Season. The beach is absolutely sensational with crystal clear water and super soft, clean sand - this cannot be overstated enough. The property gardens were gorgeous. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We're particularly thankful for Ice's personal recommendations for things to do around the island.

As referenced by some reviews, yes some of the resort could be refreshed - especially wood decking. That said, it is still beautiful. Service was generally very good but two consecutive days we had to wait on the beach for towels until past noon, which really isn't acceptable for a beach resort. The resort should ensure there are towels for when people start arriving in the morning. Prices for massage were outrageous - which meant that most of the day guests are not even using the service. Of course it's normal to pay a premium, but lowering the price by 20-25% would surely increase the volume and make me feel less taken advantage of for using the service.

The sea was crystal clear. The resort paid attention to details like providing San Pellegrino, sparkling wine, and freshly made juices at the breakfast buffet. The paper napkins were thick. The illy coffee machine in the room was another nice touch. I loved the use of bamboo and straw roofs in the Thai architecture and the tropical feel of the gardens. Sunsets at the beach were amazing and made more enjoyable by the sundowners served by the attentive and hard working staff at the beach bar. The resort's location close to a mangrove forest made it possible to kayak into a peaceful estatuary all the way to a waterfall. We were at the resort during low season so had lots of attention from staff and no issues at all with having sunbeds close to the beach.

I'm not a fan of terrazzo pools, which is how all pools are constructed. We kept having problems with our TV remote control which wasn't solved by changing batteries (TV is big sized though). At high tide there is limited beach...

This hotel is truly wonderful. The service is exceptional - friendly, genuine and they sometimes answered our questions before we even had to ask them! The hotel is set in such a beautiful and well maintained space. The lodge itself was very aesthetically pleasing and very well appointed. The bathroom was particularly nice with lots of natural lighting and a large bath. The outside space within the lodge was also lovely and the slightly cooler private pool temperature made it perfect for cooling down after the beach. The large central pool is great for swimming lengths and is fairly quiet throughout the day. The beach area is a lovely space to unwind and relax. The sea is so clear and warm, truly a beautiful area. The buffet breakfast was vast and tasty.

The gym equipment is very old and some of the machines no longer work. The yoga mats are a little old and past their best. Free weights only go up to 10kg. But it was better than nothing. There are a limited number of loungers by the beach and they tend to fill up in the morning.

This resort was incredible. The location was some of the best I’ve ever stayed. The beach is perfect, it is a long white sandy beach which is great for swimming and snorkelling in. The water was so comfortable we would happily go out again at sunset and take in the beautiful views. The staff were all wonderful, especially Pepe, Janis, and Peter, along with many others. The restaurant was great with some great vegetarian choices and all the food was delicious. The happy hour at the beach bar is well worth a visit, the cocktails were amazing. During our stay we also went to the spa for an amazing massage which was also really good value.

This is a really tiny point but the house keeping staff always came to our room around 4pm - 5pm which is around the time we would want to come back from the beach and chill, so it would have been helpful to have the service earlier in the day. However, this is a TINY point and if this is the only improvement point, highlights how great the stay was.

Room was very comfortable and spacious, one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in.

Very expensive. It was a pity the food and drink was so expensive that we generally ate and drank outside hotel.
