Western Budget Motel #3 Whitecourt

It was late and we had been on the road since 7 am we just wanted to kick back and relax. You were east to accesses and check in was a breeze once someone came to the door. We checked in at 10:30 PM.

It was 10:30 at night and the office was closed. All amenities, restaurants and gas stations were closed as well. At least the hotel staff called to see if we were still coming at 10 minutes to 10. At this point we were still 75 km away. They left the lite on for us but the door was definitely locked!

The price was incredible! We had a room with jacuzzi and fireplace as well as a well stocked kitchenette. It was spacious and relaxing. If it were just my husband and I, we could have comfortably lived there.

Housecleaning staff opened our door without knocking 2 days in a row. We should have kept the latches locked when in our room

Staff was terrific. Room was clean and well stocked kitchen.

Mattress and pillows were under par. Variety of pillow types would have been a bonus but not a dealbreaker.

Very clean…good location ….good breakfast …. Kitchen nicely equipped…liked the fireplace

Pool not terribly inviting…amenities in room pretty basic…adequate but just seemed lacking.

For the most part everything was great but they could update the beds. I feel like they have never been updated. Awful sleeps but nice clean place to stay.

The room was too far of a walk to the breakfast room ,so we only ate there on the first morning of our six night stay. We were both physically challenged to walk the distance .

good pricing for rooms the staff were friendly nice and quiet at night cool lobby

breakfast was basically bread and not much else the blankets were kind of old and uncomfortable. pool was empty and looked like it had been for a long time

The Room was huge the jacuzzi was nice to relax loved the kitchen.

It was a bit warm in the room We wernt to sure if it was safe to leave the window open over night so we were warm all night.

Very clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff.

Some of the bagels at breakfast were a little stale. The kids were a little disappointed the pool was closed.

The staff was friendly and the room was great! The coffee was good.

The stay was great, the only complaint I had was there was very little hot water. I could not fill the bath tub and have a hot bath. I did not report the issue to the front desk but it was the first time I have run out of hot water in a hotel room.
