Sundowner Motel

Everything was pretty much what I expected. It was an older motel, on the highway. Clean, comfortable bed, decent water pressure. I parked right in front of my room. The staff was friendly, helpful, quick to notice and acknowledge me. The price was less than 2/3 of any other place in Cache Creek, so I did not have high expectations and did not need luxury for one night.

There was no deadbolt, only the lock in the doorknob, so it felt a bit scary for me travelling alone. However, there was a staff member visible so that helped.

Top marks. I was made welcome as one of the family. Very cheerful owner/manager who offered helpful suggestions regarding local dining. Room was spacious, spotless and quiet. Room was simply but adequately furnished, and everything worked properly. Very reasonable rate for overnight accommodation, but longer stays would be perfectly comfortable as well.

Loved it. No opportunity to grumble here, because everything was perfect!

Quick check in, friendly staff and tidy room. Mini kitchenette area was handy for us.

Shower took quite a while to have hot water, about 2-3 minutes. Not enough outlets for charging, all were being used for an appliance already.

The friendly staff, big rooms full fridge,everything in walking distance. Beds were comfortable. The balcony was nice. Very clean

Carpets and bathroom sink could use a upgrade. But for the price it was perfect.I stayed last year and I will be back next year.

I liked that the room had an air conditioner because there was a heat wave and it would've been wayyy too hot without it. I also liked how comfy the bed was and how quiet the entire area was.

The wifi connection and tv signal kept cutting in and out however it's understandable considering Cache Creek is a very small town in what feels like the middle of nowhere.

The room was spacious, the kitchen facilities were very accommodating and bedding was clean. Hugely loved that they were pet friendly and seemed to genuinely care about my dog.

Parking was tight to accommodate all customers on the location coming from both highways.

Very convenient for our trip, comfortable bed and bedding.

Outside looks dated but room was nicely renovated. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The owner told me about the local food options and how late each was open...good advice! Cache Creek is a small village so everything is within walking distance.

Very clean room. I like that there were proper mugs, cups, cutlery that even expensive hotels now don’t offer anymore.

Nothing to do with the motel but Cache Creek is not a very exciting, I stayed here to avoid the ridiculous summer hotel prices in the Okanagan.

Efficient, friendly, helpful front desk/owners couple. I really appreciate that. A tiny, inexpensive room on our travels but the second you opened door, you could smell cleanliness and a huge bed with sparkling white sheets and inviting fluffy pillows. Perfect after a long day of travel. A good nights sleep and on the road again.
