Harrison Spa Motel

The location of the hotel in the resort town of Harrison Hot Springs at the base of Lake Harrison, is beautiful. The lake and surrounding area is amazing. Although the hotel itself is very dated, my room was very clean. At the adjacent Basecamp restaurant/cafe, the food and staff were both excellent. A 15% discount is available to Hotel guests.

Parking was limited and crowded. At times over my 5 day stay, when there were larger cars and trucks parked, it was very difficult to drive in and out of the very narrow driveway and parking spaces.

Great location right on the water. The motel is a bit dated but very clean. It was perfect for a weekend in Harrison hot springs. You get 15% off food at the base camp cafe below which is fantastic (great food and staff!). Good value for money although not cheap. It had everything we needed. Bunk beds for the kids, bed was comfy. Coffee maker, tv, small bathroom, mosquito nets on windows! There were signs to be quiet between 9pm-9am which is helpful.

Smells from cafe below are strong. We kept the front window closed and only opened back window. Which was fine in May. In full summer it might have bothered me more.

I was immediately greeted by Daniel who had a warm and inviting smile. He was efficient and helpful at answering all my questions. I was quickly checked in and up to my room right away. Delighted by the fact that the room was spacious and took care of all our basic needs for a nice place to crash before heading out exploring the following day. The staff went above and beyond and I will definitely recommend Harrison Spa Motel AND be back! Location wise, it's in the centre of everything with the lake just across the street without having to pay the crazy hotel prices like the other main hotel on the strip.... that is super outdated anyway. This hotel over all the others, by far!

it was immediately across from the main dock, certainly the best location of all the hotels! Upon walking in, the room smelled of some cleaning products, which was quite nice; I planned to have a bath here, so I brought some stuff to clean the bath also, but while cleaning, there was no discolouration in my product at all, meaning it was already quite clean! The bed was comfortable and the bedding was cozy. There was a microwave, fridge, and little coffee machine, equipped with some coffee pods/sugar/coffee mate, which was very handy. I went down the block and picked up a box of tea to have in my room which made evenings very relaxing. This property is close to everything! Seriously the best location, and the staff was so kind and personable. For me, my time spent in the room was pretty much just to sleep, not much lingering around, which if that’s your plan as well, I couldn’t think of a better place to stay.

The walls were thin, heard some ruckus lol, but I think most hotels and motels are this way unfortunately. human nature hahah.

I loved that it was right across from the lake. It's in the middle of everything. A restaurant is attached to it that gave superb tasty meals and plentiful!! Also cause we were staying at motel 15% off the food. Great value all around!!! They also have a grassed area with a new bbq and a gas fireplace and lots of chairs and a 3 picnic tables! A great feature!!

Rooms and complex were super clean but the building itself needs some updating. But I think they are doing bit by bit from what I saw! But still very comfortable and secure!!

- Warm, comfortable bed (though we didn’t use the blankets as it was warm — because we didn’t turn on the A/C as it was dusty) - Nice table lamp where you can control the light 💡 setting - Parking fee of $5 instead of $10 (but it would’ve been better if there were no parking fee at all)

- No hangers to hang jackets - You have to ask front office for use of hair dryer - Drainage in sink is too slow - Dusty air conditioner and blinds (and super dusty electric fan tucked under the sink) - No microwave (but perhaps it’s because you are surrounded by plenty of restaurants in the esplanade)

Very friendly, welcoming and thoughtful staff, excellent location, good value for money, I recommend.

It was clean but not spotless, we moved the beside table to have our dinner and it was quite dusty behind.

The place is way better than what I expected. From the street, it seems like old motel, but inside rooms is very well maintained and pleasant. It is right next to popular businesses and quiet at night. I can definitely stay here again. Just FYI, the public hot spring pool is closed this week and it is not clear when it will be open again. Also the Harrion Hotspring Resorts does not allow day pass sales anymore, event though their web page says so. I used the Hot spring source run off and it was great instead . Anyway please plan ahead accordingly if you visit this area.

Everything was great really. Only issue I experienced was with credit card payment. It may cause unexpected fraud detection alert after the pandemic. To avoid any surprises, I recommend making payments and getting confirmation before the travel date.

This little motel was like a trip back in time ! I wasnt expecting to be so thrilled with a place that was so inexpensive The room was spotlessly clean, even the carpet! The bed was comfortable, there was a mini fridge and a coffee maker. Everything worked and was well maintained. The staff, owners? were the icing on the cake. Friendly and happy, I would go back and stay longer than one night.

De -caf coffee in the room would be nice, but thats just being picky!

The room was super clean, it's an older building but it's very comfortable. The staff was very helpful, the manager even helped me with my luggage upstairs on day of arrival. The Motel is right across the street from the lagoon with is awesome.

My only "problem" was early evening up until 9pm there was a lot of noise I'm assuming from the restaurant below my room. I understand that they have to be busy. After 9pm it was really quiet and nice.
