The hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants. There was also a gas station/convenience store in town. The second floor rooms did not have an elevator, so guests with mobility issues should specify a first floor room. Some of the rooms did not have air conditioning; ours had windows in the front and back that could be opened and the ceiling fan did a good job of circulating the cool evening air. Breakfast was not included, but there was a refrigerator/freezer in the room. There was also a restaurant down the street that served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. We really liked the Adirondack chairs on the property, from which there was a view of the harbor. Great place to read after dinner!

Guests who prefer air conditioning should request a room that has an air conditioner. We stayed when the afternoon temperature was in the 80 degrees Fahrenheit, so the open windows and fan worked just fine for a comfortable night's sleep.

Location was perfect, we were close to the boats that sit on the ground at low tide and rise at high tide. We were walking distance to restaurants and shops and the gas station with convenience store. The motel was clean and the bed was comfortable

My room was right beside the stairs going up to the upper level and people came in around 10 pm. You could hear them going up, closing their door, then running back down the stairs for the next load. The beds are small maybe a double size. Parking is not very organized and the parking lot gets dicey at times.

Alma is nicer and offers more than we expected. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to restaurants, shops, the wharf & beach. Nice spot on the grounds with chairs for enjoying water views. The room was older, but comfortable and clean.

The outdoor stairs leading to the second floor room were steep and not completely secured to the side of the building. I weigh well under 150 lbs, and I could feel movement on the stairs that made me uneasy.

This accommodation is very conveniently located mid-town and allows easy walking access to virtually all restaurants, coffee shops and local conveniences. Our room was well equipped with minimal dish ware and cutlery suitable for enjoying take-out meals. The bathroom and shower were good and the bed was comfortable. If weather allows, there several Adirondack chairs on the lawn facing the water and the marina to enjoy a beverage after a day of travel. This property is also within a very short drive to many hiking and recreational trails in Fundy National Park for all outdoor enthusiasts. Also Hopewell Rocks and the amazing “Flower Pots” rock formations and incredible tides are only 30min west of Alma.

You can't beat the location. The room was so comfy. They thought of everything including dishes and cutlery. There is a store across the street to buy things but I literally stepped out the door a d was on the ocean.

There is no air conditioner which was fine given the weather. However, I had neighbour's that chatted outside my door until early hours. It would have been nice to close the window and turn on the air if there was one. Not a big deal.

Everything! The hotel is right on Alma Beach next to the dock. High and low tides are easy to view and the Adirondack chairs set at the edge of the grass are perfect for quiet contemplation. There is a gift shop attached. The hotel is in the center of the village, all restaurants are walkable and the rooms are exceptionally clean.

The front steps are a bit high for someone slightly handicapped needing a cane like me, but the outside stairs have a railing.

Great proximity to the town and nearby restaurants, no need to move the car after we arrived, as everything is in walking distance. The bed was so, so comfortable... The most important thing!

The place is starting to show its age, but it is so comfortable and the room is so well equipped, you don't really mind the worn furnishings. Can't be helped by the owners, but you can't drink the water. The hotel provides lots of bottled water though.

Location, location, Location!! Alma is perfectly situated 30-40 mins drive to Hopewell Rocks Park and also at the entrance to Fundy National Park! Alpine is right in the middle of town. There is a gas station, bakery and lots of lobster restaurants, but nothing that really stands out! The Alpine has a wonderful backyard green space overlooking the harbour and adjoining beach. If you have a dog, please be aware that it’s home to a ground hog! Also there are two beach access areas for your dog. One is by the Alma Lobster shop across the river bridge and the other is across from the Canadian flag at the entrance to Fundy Park. The motor inn is pretty basic with the smallest bathroom I’ve experienced! So small that the towels are located in the bedroom area with vanity sink. If it’s humid, there is no air conditioning. You really are paying for the convenient location!

We arrived early but were able to enter the room. The room was wonderful, better than the pictures. Simply said, it was cozy. We had a room overlooking the inlet. The room was quiet and in the middle of Alma. Alma is a small city, but has everything we needed and was next to the Acadia Park.

The WIFI was a little spotty, but met our needs on vacation. That's it, all of the rest was wonderful.

Great location right in the middle of town so you can walk everywhere. Room was super clean and we could make coffee in our room. Bay of fundy park entrance is across the street.

There was a complete water ban in the whole town so you had to get bottles of water everywhere even at the restaurants which is expensive. We only stayed one night because of this reason and was told this pretty much happens every summer. Not good.
