The motel is beside a lovely brook which you can walk to. The owner was very friendly and helpful and he gave us suggestions for take-out food and walking trails on the property. The suite was well equipped with everything a guest would need and the beds were very comfortable. There is interesting educational material posted on one of the buildings about local historical figures.

The water pressure for the toilet and shower could be a bit stronger.

Since I live myself out in the country, I loved that I was again in the country. Beautiful setting, loved the “rocky brook” in the back, loved the “room” itself, which was way more than a room. Two bedrooms a complete kitchen and a dining and leisure area. Overall, the best place we have had at our trip from SW Ontario to and in Nfld.

Nothing that I didn’t like.

Location. The facilities were clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with dinnerware, cutlery, plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable. I loved the firepits and that they had several areas for gathering with friends, or to say hello to the others. Beautiful brook right behind the cabins - fell asleep both nights to the sound.

The place is located near the stream with a beautiful small waterfall, easily accessible from the lodging. The owner is very kind and friendly. Check-in and check-out times are surprisingly flexible it's a bonus.

The rooms are a bit small for three people. Kitchen appliances are basic. Power outlets are few and located not so conveniently.

These cabins are charming. We had the Smith cabin dedicated to the ww2 war brides. Current inside with neutral colours and hardwood flooring. Two bedrooms with crisp white bed linens on comfortable double beds. Located on the banks of a babbling brook complete with waterfall. We were all very happy.

Everything about this place is perfect, both the location, the service and the quality of the rooms. Very friendly and attentive owner Andy. We traveled as a family and were pleasantly surprised by the luxurious room in which we spent two days and did not want to leave :)

Isolated. Needs to carry some amenities and food items, along with some cold drinks. Not a lot, but it is too far to go to the local gas station. Owner should have some ice cube trays so guests can at least make ice.

The rooms are recently renovated, clean and beautiful. The beds and pillows are the comfiest that we've experienced in a hotel. There is a lovely sheltered brook with secluded Muskoka chairs that is perfect for a relaxing respite. Andy and the staff take care of everything. Highly recommended, we will return next vacation in this area

Everything was perfect.

Excellent central location. Calm and convivial. I absolutely love the fact that the rooms are mini chalet with everything included (kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and bathroom). Beautiful yard to relax and it is 100% pet friendly.

It was confusing at first to know how the check in was working. I had to call the owner to get my room number. However, I did not have any network. I was lucky that other visitors helped and called for me.

Lovely farm house. Very spacious with every amenity that we would need. Close to Gross Morne Park. Very good value for the price. We were pleasantly surprised.

No real issues. Owner checked on us half way through our stay as we were away from the main office.
