The staff was really helpful and friendly. The property was really clean and well kept. The morning breakfast was really great and had lots of options for adults and children. The pool is heated and the gym was kept really clean. On site laundry was an amazing extra while travelling with kids.

The dinner service at the hotel restaurant is very slow. The food is decent but slow, so you need to plan for this if you have kids. The hot tub and steam room were out of order so unfortunately couldn't use those facilities.

The breakfast was awesome - the whole family loved it. There was a large variety of hot and cold food options with fresh fruit cups and fruit and muffins to go. We also loved the fitness area and pool and our beds were very comfortable. We brought our large dog and they gave us a little welcome bag for her with a roll of poop bags, dog treats, and a ball. We were on the bottom floor to allow easy access to go out the back door to take the dog out and they had garbage cans outdoors for convenience. Overall, a great stay!

The pool could have been more clean - found hair in it and the water did not look fresh. But, we still swam and had fun.

I loved the variety of food options for the free breakfast. We have stayed at many hotels and this was by far the best selection on food. It was well above our expectations and we will defiantly stay again. Rooms were clean and ready when we checked in. Check in process was very easy. Large TV in the room with cable. We were pleasantly surprised to see a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. All of these amenities were great to have.

Pool was closed for maintenance but some things are out of their control. This is more of a suggestion them something I didn't like but It might be worth looking into swapping the lunch menu at the Bistro for the Supper Menu. The supper menu had limited options but lunch had many.

The breakfast was great and the staff running it was very efficient at cleaning tables. the location was good for easy access.

the thumbnail picture on booking.com website is a court yard with plants. I was expecting that the hotel was in a forested area with lots of plants but it was a large beige building on the side of a road. I am not sure where this picture was taken, but it does not represent the majority of the building. the rooms were old and out dated. the bunk bed was nice for families but the top bunk was a bit wiggly when you moved. need a more study bunk bed. our biggest complaint was that the room was above the party room and a wedding party was below us with loud music until 1 am the first night. the hotel knew the wedding party's date, so why did they book us in that room on the same night? they gave us a discount for the night, but it was not a good sleep.

We stayed here just as Hurricane Fiona hit Nova Scotia so we had driven from Cape Breton. The staff were incredible given the upheaval as a result of the wind & rain. They provided a breakfast the morning after the storm ( despite power being out) , and then later in the day sandwiches & soup when everything was closed . The staff at the Prince Hotel were cheerful and made the effort to come in and help despite many having their own homes without power. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough given our experience.

I don't think there were grounds to dislike anything about the hotel given the circumstances.

The staff were excellant. Front desk staff. Helped me with the TV. Resent my key . Maintenance came right away to change the batteries. Housekeeping were kind. Stu and his staff in the Bistro were marvellious. Breakfast staff both mornings were friendly kind, Food was very good. My room was very clean .

The only sad thing about my stay. My room was TIRED. It needs to be freshened up. The desk chair was cracked and the stuffing was coming out of the arms. The black out curtains were held together with duc tape. I understand the hotel is OLD. It has been bought recently. I know there are growing pains. My positives out way the negatives. Im sure with time there will be improvements.

We liked the cleanliness and comfort of our room which included a king bed and sitting area, a large Smart TV, and lots of electrical plugs to charge our devices. The Bistro in the hotel served delicious food with a good variety for any appetite. We appreciated a window that opened to provide fresh air.

The breakfast was excellent and the room was large. I liked that there were soft pillows as well as firm.

The entire place was a little run down. This is a large hotel and conference center (four floors), but they have only a single elevator The hotel was sold out the night we stayed, and the elevator always had a wait--sometimes for 5-10 minutes. Compared to other places we've stayed, the price was high for the physical quality of the facilities--our room looked out onto the HVAC units on the roof. There was mold in the shower/tub area as well as behind the sink faucet. The bathroom may have been one of the smallest we've ever had in a hotel--there was barely room to stand at the sink in front of the toilet, and certainly not enough space for two persons at once.

Location is excellent. The property itself is very clean and quiet!

first night there parking was a little difficult but after a couple of trips around managed to snag a spot. The second day we went to the pool and there were a few teenagers in it. They were having fun but after a bit we got out as they hogged the shallow end and the water was rough from them throwing each other around. just typical teenage shenanigans but it did ruin our pool time.

only issue we really had was our air conditioner couldn't well controlled by the wall thermostat. we have mentioned it to the front line staff and they will follow it up. because of the position of the bed the air conditioner which worked very well to keep things cold seemed to have only one fan position high and the curtains would fly up and if you were the one sleeping on that side of the bed you would get quite chilly. if you turned up the temp so the fan would stop the room would get exceptionally warm. That would be my major complaint. hubby did fix the stopper for the tub so he could have a bath so we didn't call about that. :) all good
