Wheel Inn Motel

Very clean. The room is small but we were only staying there for sleeping purposes. It served very well for our stay. They send you your password for your room so theres no front desk or person to talk to which is nice as it’s very private. Close to Walmart, Tim Hortons and other popular places.

I loved the room however on our last day someone banged repeatedly on our door and before we could talk or try and get up to see who it was they put our password in and tried to open the door while we were still in bed. Thankgod we had our chain on the door. It was 3 hours before our checkout time and they woke us up. We had a long night and didn’t appreciate the very abrupt loud knocking at 9 am in the morning. I thought someone was trying to break in.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the wheel inn motel. The day before check in we had a hiccup in our plan that would make us arrive later than previously expected. The staff at the motel ensured that despite our hiccup the check in process went smoothly. Throughout our stay and problems or inquiries we had were met immediately with response from the 24 hour assistance offered by the motel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable (fixed problems we had, advised us where we may not have a great time, informed us on activities that we may enjoy, and much more!) As for the town the motel was located in, it was a nice small town, with plenty of nice people. Personally I found myself going on walks every evening and throughout the day because the town was extremely enjoyable to stroll in. If you should find yourself out this way I would encourage those to have a stay at the wheel inn motel.

Tea, coffee was available via a percolator in the room. Location was excellent near Canadian Tire, lots of stores in nextdoor malls. Shower head pressure was the best ever. Could have stayed in the shower forever. Liked the additional/extra sink in the kitchen area. Spacious room. Check in worked. Office manager walked me through the process. My cell phone had died, so I got emails later.

I didn't know I was to get breakfast. Oh well, maybe next time. I liked the fact this motel is just off Hwy 11 and so very convenient to get to. Drove past the first time and I asked someone where it was and they told me - found it!!!! Everything I needed was there - was surprised at the Keurig maker - had tea that I brought with me. Had trouble getting onto the Wi-Fi and called the front desk and was told the info was on the back of the card - my card was all in French which I don't read and the only number was the phone number - which unbeknownst to me - was the code to get into the Wi-Fi. Oh well, will know for another time.

The staff were at my door at 845 ready to make up my room.

It was handy for parking and accessing the stairs. The room was clean and everything worked. Generous with towels and other amenities.

The tub was very rusty and we couldn’t turn off the dripping tap in the tub. My husband thought you could take more care in sweeping and keeping the stairs and area maintained.

I really appreciate not having to do anything to check in or out, no one needed to see me in person, very quiet not busy or disruptive, I couldn't hear anything outside the room, the bed was really great

Shower could be updated, more parking options, I'm ok with the outcome of my stay. Much much better than other private, non franchise hotels in the area. Am glad I chose This Hotel

Incredible value for money. Had a few questions during check in and was easily able to contact staff and have my questions answered within minutes. Was traveling alone and still felt very safe. Entry system with the padlock was very simple and made check in much faster. Room was warm and comfortable even on a chilly day.

Could hear conversations and foot steps of neighbors fairly easily. This didn't bother me much, but something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper that sound carries well in this motel.

This is an older hotel that has gone through major upgrades to the rooms, I was very pleased with the room and it wAS VERY CLEAN. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN IF I WAS IN THE CITY AGAIN. I was very tired after driving for 9 hours and fell asleep very easily.

Really nothing wrong but traffic on the road outside was a bit of a concern. A sign at the turnoff to the hotel would help find it easier as I actually drove by the hotel when entering the town. Being a senior I was very happy with a ground floor room

I like that it was keyless entry, no need to check in at the reception, and when I call the hotel, the gentleman on the phone, was polite and answered all my questions.

The only thing I disliked was the maid knocked once and walked in, we didn't have time to reacte she was in the room, I understand she has a job to do, but give us time to react before opening the door. And not alot of parking.

The room has a great deal of character. It was quiet and comfortable and I had a great sleep. Has microwave, fridge and Keurig, different cups to choose from. They provide several amenities to go with the Keurig. They provide lots of toiletries and towels. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail paid by this hotel, considering it's not a chain. You receive a note from the person who cleaned your Room, as well as a message from the Property Manager. Accountability is great to see. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness and an excellent price. Will definitely be back!

More traffic noise in the morning, no fan or hair dryer in bathroom. Room could use an extra garbage can. None of these issues would cause me not to book again.
