Price quality was very good. New bathroom, clean floor. Everything fine!

The Diamond Inn is definitely a gem in the rough! It looks 50ish and likely is in its outside appearance and furniture (e.g. corded phone) in the room. It deserves a face lift and better sign. While it is less in appearance (worn edge on couch) it is the best equipped room I've had in 8 visits to the Bruce Peninsula. It exceeds them in having a kitchenette that allowed me to make a simple breakfast, including the use of the coffee maker and pouch of coffee. This saved time in the morning to get me on my way.

The desk clerk could not speak understandable English.

I liked having the fridge, microwave and a separate sink. The room was fairly spacious. I liked having the couch in there. The room temperature was comfortable, the heater was working fine. The bathroom is dated, so don't expect anything fancy or brand spanking new. I usually avoid staring at every nook and cranny for dirt because it will just drive one crazy. The water was nice and hot for the showers. For nearby food, I like the pizza place just up the street.

The bed wasn't comfortable. The springs were too hard. I've slept in many hotel and motel rooms, so I am comparing my comfort level to those. I went to sleep, but it was more of a challenge than usual. The parking spot was a bit tight. Thankfully no one parked next to me. And the fridge in my room was not working properly, and kept freezing liquids and food. Turning the temp down was not a option because it just shut off completely.

Clean, spacious room, kitchenette was a bonus to prepare some food, cutting down on cost of eating out!

Our room had another one above us, poor sound proof that woke us up in the morning. Even if they weren't loud, you can here everything! Don't get that room. Otherwise the place was perfect! Very well priced and clean and comfortable!

Good for the price. This is a budget choice but it was acceptable. No issues or complaints. No luxuries.

Only 1 TV channel. WiFi disconnects sometimes. Room could use some cosmetic repairs but no issues functionally.

Basic no frills room that met requirements. Enjoyed the kitchenette and small dining table... Ideal for order-in in these COVID times. Owners very welcoming and helpful.

Room was a little old and tired. A coat of paint would go a long way to enhancing the atmosphere of the room. Really good that all rooms are non-smoking. Those wanting a cigarette could step outside and an ashtray and sit-down bench were provided. Really bad that the ashtrays weren't emptied regularly every day rather than (obviously) every couple of weeks!!

Older hotel, but very clean. Nice little kitchenette with a good fridge and even 2 burner stove! The location is close enough to everything, but set back from the road, and very quiet. Staff were very pleasant & friendly.

Pillows were very flat, not very supportive.

Clean room equipped with a mini kitchen, not far from downtown and several stores around, overall a decent comfy motel to stay. we arrived late and spent only one night, but the staff is nice and helpful.

The only inconvenience for me is that no hair dryer provided.

The queen room was in a quiet location, clean, bed was comfortable, couch was an asset, wifi worked great for a tablet, and breakfast was simple and what I would have at home. Checking in was easy and matched my confirmation.

Missing plastic drinking glasses in the bathroom, hangers for the coatrack, and bath towel rack is too high. BUT -- Staff brought these items when I called the office.

The Family Suite was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was no hassle checking in or out. There was also a small breakfast bar with the basics to start your day.

The Family Suite on the lower floor where I stayed is prone to noise from the suite above. The floors are very thin and not sound proof so when the occupants wake up at 6:30 you can hear their footsteps clearly.
