Motel Le Martinet

This is a lovely property which has been lovingly maintained. The rooms are spacious and have all the required amenities. The bathroom was lovely and the bed & pillows were very clean and comfortable. My travel companions needed a room with 2 beds. The receptionist was able to accommodate our request for a room change quickly which made everyone happy!

Just a couple of small things: the switches to run off the bedside lamps (in room 44) are very far from the bed, you have to get up to turn them off. The flush for the toilet didn’t work unless I lifted the toilet cover for flushing. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

Lovely, well renovated hotel. Extremely clean and comfortable. No restaurant but generous and varied continental breakfast included. Easy to get to, the view is nothing to write home about but there's so much to see in the region that all you do at the hotel is sleep really. Housekeeping is superb and discreet. We stayed 5 nights so were able to appreciate the hotel to its fullest. The owners are ofter on the premises and are very warm and friendly. Overall, a lovely stay and we are sure to return.

The view is so/so but that can't be helped. A restaurant would have been nice but with breakfast included, it's not really a problem.

Very clean and comfortable, with simple, serene decor. Good continental breakfast. Conveniently close to the highway, but far enough away that we couldn’t hear it. There’s a small park and a rail trail right along the St. Laurence just on the other side of the exit from the highway, about 1 km from the motel - nice for a morning or evening walk. I think I saw a review that complained of smelling cow manure, but we didn’t smell it , we just enjoyed the fresh Quebec countryside air.

The hotel was very clean and our hostess was extremely accommodating. The hotel was in a slightly out of the way location, but easy to find from the Trans Canada highway. Breakfast was very good and included many choices. Our room was quiet, had modern amenities while being charmingly rustic.

We have stayed in Le Pocatiere a number of times over the years. This time our usual spot was booked. This little treasure will now be our "go to place". It was spotless, clean and I loved the retro decor - nothing fancy, just very nice.

The patio was not really much of a patio (but that was OK)

The hotel is conveniently located for an overnight stop. The breakfast was good. Helpful staff. The loft is well equipped if you need to prepare a meal.

We stayed in the Loft. The room was very crammed when the sofa bed was used. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

It’s a lovely place to stay. The motel is well looked after and the rooms have been nicely renovated. The Covid restrictions have affected the breakfast on offer, but it is still adequate and will be improved upon as soon as possible. It is still better than many hotels are offering at this time. Having 2 armchairs in the room rather than a sofa, was a very comfortable set up.

the motel us going through renovations so there was a breakfast nook with limited seating set up in the hallway near the reception area. I look forward to my next stay when the breakfast room will be ready.

Located on Rte 132, near the Seigneurie des Aulnaies & Moulin Banal (perfect location),the motel is clean and provides you great hospitality. The receptionist, Marie-Claude, is very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. The staffs were also very helpful. The motel provides you very good breakfasts. When I say breakfasts were very good, I mean it! 👍 Overall experience was awesome.I'll recommend this motel to couples and families. You wont regret your stay at Motel Le Marin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly and helpful lady. She recommended a good restaurant in town for dinner. Our room was big and clean as was the bathroom. It looked like it had fairly recent renovations. We had a business suite and love the exterior access through the 2nd door. We had a small but good breakfast included in the price. We would stay there again!

Because it is situated near farms the smell of manure was strong outside.
