Everything about this property was lovable from the garden to the great breakfast on the veranda to the lovely quirky old French hotel-style bedroom with comfy bed. it is very well located to discover the pretty town of Magog and its lake. But best of all were the hosts, Renald and Jose, who were charming and delightful. Jose seemed to do the cooking (we loved the fruit laden crepe and the beautifully presented breakfast omelette) and Renald, although quite hard of hearing and moving with some difficulty, was front of house and made us feel so welcome.

Location was terrific, a short walk into town for dinner, and the waterfront park. Breakfast was amazing. We had a delicious omelette, a plate of local cheeses AND a steaming fresh croissant! We ate breakfast on the porch in the midst of the verdant garden. The room was small but had everything we needed, including a pleasantly firm mattress.

We have been here 5 times and we love it. The breakfast is exceptional with beautiful fruit and veg shaped into animals and hearts. A feast for the eyes. And really tasty too. Keeps one filled up to tackle hiking up and down Mt. Orford, as we did. The location is perfect, a couple of streets away from the main drag of rue Principale, and everything is in walking distance. We love the hosts Renald and José.

We'd like everything. The bed might be a bit hard for some people. This was in the large room on the first floor, Touretelle.

The room was smaller than I thought it would be but it’s definitely comfortable and I will without a doubt recommend this place!

It was a pleasure to stay with José and Rénald at their lovely house. The house is warm, clean and so cozy. They help you with recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Breakfast in the morning is just amazing. Parking at the house is so convenient and the location is so convenient and easy to find.

The breakfast was fabulous! The place was so beautiful, especially the gardens and decor. The room was very comfortable and the hosts were professional and courteous. The home was on a quiet street within easy walking distance to town. We will return.

It gets very hot in the rooms at night in the summer!

Wonderful welcome to lovely house, tastefully and joyfully appointed. Location is very good - and the garden and porch are superb for sitting out and enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine with candlelight they kindly provided and plates for our charcuterie. Breakfast is a treat. Cleanliness great; beds comfortable; fridge available on second floor; cofffee/tea, and parking for bikes and cars is good. We were happy and charmed.

A charming, period, homely auberge in the centre of town. Very clean, very comfortable, spacious room with great beds. Excellent hosts. Great breakfast. A short walk to a very good restaurant.
