The water view upon entering the hotel was beautiful and welcoming. I also liked that the staff did not switch to English when they heard my terrible French. They let me muddle through and we figured out a way to understand each other. They also switched my room when four families arrived in rooms opposite me, propped their doors open, and proceeded to scream and yell between the rooms. After one hour, I couldn't take the constant screaming and yelling so went to the front desk and asked for a room on a different floor. I was happy that they agreed to move me. The room they moved me to was lovely. It wasn't big but had everything laid out perfectly. A table, a desk, a small closet, super comfy bed, fridge, counter space in the bathroom...etc. It was a really lovely room.

This is a mix because it wasn't the hotel's fault. I loved that there were no carpets in the hall or rooms on the 1st floor where I was originally, but it meant that the screaming of the children running back and forth between rooms, and the parents yelling, was amplified. Maybe that section (1st floor) could be reserved for families so that they can freely do what these four families did without bothering people. Also, the person who switched rooms for me did so, but made it clear she wasn't happy. Either say you can't switch rooms or don't try to make the person feel guilty for asking. But at least she made the change.

Great location, clean facilities, nice room with great view.

The air conditioning wasn’t working in our room making it uncomfortably warm during day & humid at night. We had to leave our patio door open to keep it cool during the day & comfortable at night. When discussed with the front desk they didn’t have another room available. The next day we were told that the a/c wasn’t working on the entire floor & someone was coming to fix it that day. However it never worked the next day but the weather cooled down so it wasn’t an issue that evening.

We were just passing through off the ferry and expected a Travelodge, having not used a Riotel before, but were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the welcome, at a very good price. We were able to enjoy the sunset by a firepit on the beach with a good beer, and use the pool. In the morning we had a very good home cooked breakfast. The room itself was comfortable with good facilities. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.

Can’t fault it.

The hotel has an extraordinary location right on the ocean. We slept with the sliding door open listening to pounding surf. It's truly a beach front property. Restaurant had great food and views.

Room is a bit dated. There was no A/C but the hotel provided a fan that we used which worked but I would not choose this hotel in a heat wave.

The pool was filled with families with drunken fathers guzzling cans of beer while sitting in the hottub. The wives had alcoholic drinks in glass containers while in the pool. Gross.

Nice modern hotel, large room, well equipped. Nice restaurant with river view. Nice location, space to park the car.

We asked whether we would get dinner in the hotel when arriving from the ferry (20.30 - 20.45). The answer was that the kitchen would close at 20.30, so we did not take the risk. Having arrived at the hotel, we were told that having dinner was no problem, the information was seemingly wrong, to the disadvantage of all parties involved.

The location is convenient. And the staff are very nice. It should be noted that there is no USB charging port in the room. Luckily though, the staff on duty lent us a cube to plug in.

Need to add usb recharge equipment. The window is foggy, so the view is not as good as I thought.

Location was great, room was beautiful and bed confortable. The room was nicely clean by the staff and everybody was nice.

The AC in the gym was not workin, it was wayyyyy to hot working out in their gym and it feel like we were in a sauna. There were no cup for the water, i had to go back to my room to get some. The spa need to be clean more often during the day.... it looked dirty

The view of the water from the restaurant and having a restaurant on site was a plus. Having a pool indoors and outdoors was great. The room was close to everything and beds were comfy.

Prices could have been a bit cheaper for room and restaurant.

Incredibly well located by the river/sea. Sunsets are stunning. Facilities for families are great in the summer: two pools, sauna, tennis court, walk on the beach etc.

Food was ok but not great at the restaurant and it’s on the pricy side for it.
