Great staff, the location is around so many different restaurants and shopping, the hotel is divided into towers that are easy to find and navigate, my children enjoyed the Aqua Fun Club and the Légendaire Restaurant

The room where we stayed didn’t have curtains that you could fully close, they had white mesh curtains but the full ones could not close completely

Size of room and beds. Good location, close to main roads, shopping, not far from main attractions. Nice swimming pool, good spa.

Restaurant a bit small, considering the number of guests, resulting in reservation time not always ideal, and sometimes long waits for service. Mattress and pillows could be a little firmer. Sauna was closed and not available.

The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. The facilities, especially the pool area, are very good.

The restaurant was busy and the only reservation we could get was very late, too late for the young child travelling with us. For such a large hotel, it seems odd that there is only one dining area.

Nice clean room and bathroom

There's no breakfast included in your stay, you need a reservation at their restaurant even for breakfast. Similar hotels do have breakfast included in your rate.

I have enjoyed the location. The rooms are spacious. It was also very clean.

The air conditioning was loud and as it turns on and off in the middle of the night, it wakes me up.

The hotel staff is quite nice and check in was very easy. There is ample parking, and the mall as well as various food establishments like Provigo, McDonald's, St. Hubert, and A & W are within a short walking distance. The rooms are spacious, and the amenities are great for families. We chose a double quuen room that had a fridge and a table with chairs. The AquaFun was well attended, and reservations are needed to maintain safe distancing. The gym has a couple of treadmills, free weights, and other equipment. There is disinfectant for your convenience. It does get hot in there so do take your own water if you need it. There are also other fun things for children to do as well as a restaurant. The UQAC campus is very close. The Chicoutimi riverfront area is about a 25 minute downhill walk. It's a pleasant walk but be prepared for a hilly walk back up!

The decor and carpeting, especially in the stairwells, are dated and can use refreshing. The photos online look better than reality. The toilets and showers are not very powerful.

There is a lot activities in the hotel, near of everything. Beautiful view from the last floor.

Nobody told me that we had to reserve for having food at the hotel. The bathroom was very tiny. Bed was hard for my back. Wifi was very very very slow; i couldnt work on my computer or tablet

Love air conditioning but the settings didn't work.

I enjoyed the downstairs club and pool table. The room was nice and cozy. The restaurant was exceptional for breakfast and dinner.

Hotel Montagnais is a classic, we still remember dancing until the early hours downstairs, hopefully this will come back after COVID! The restaurant is great, and the beds are comfy. The staff is very helpful, and available. I never had a bad experience at Le Montagnais.

The shower could be slightly improved, but it's really not a big deal. The price is right for the type of hotel, and the staff is amazing. The bed are very comfy, and everything is pretty clean.
