Let me see, I booked Auberge du Lac Morency through booking.com, that was my first mistake, some how someone told me it's cheaper to go through the booking.com, but obviously it was a bad idea. I need special assistive devices, like hand grip in the shower, which I asked in the booking.com site but that communication was missed with the property, I required for an accessible room, they gave me a room in second floor with 20 steps to take with all the luggages. upon our arrival, the receptionist kindly spent 45 minutes with me to change my room (it was a long weekend and the resort was full) to a first floor room, bigger and more accessible, I had to pay for the upgrade but believe me it worth every penny I paid extra, the room was big with a full kitchen with all you need, it was full kitchen. the property is beautiful, with lots of FREE entertainment to spend your time with your family, tennis court, one outdoor pool which we spent most of our time in, it's pretty small pool with limited seats but we had a lot of fun, you have the option of using the beach as well, with lots of different boats to choose, there are playground and mini golf for kids, I planned to ride an ATV with my son but they were all booked last day so it was my lack of planning. bottom line is that the property is beautiful, it's like a Caribbean vacation in our backyard. The staff are very helpful and kind. we definitely go back but this time through the property directly
It's hard to say what we didn't like about it, there were minor hiccups not worth to mention them, my only issue that I talked to the property management as well was the shower, they need to add hand grip in the shower and add shower head as well , the shower stand is extremely small, so a shower head will definitely help

Perfect place to travel with kids! There are so many outdoor activities available during the summer, such as ping pong, volleyball, badminton, gigantic chess, and a kids' playground. The best part is that everything is included in the price, so you don't need to pay anything extra for these activities. Our favorite activities were kayaking and, of course, enjoying the outdoor pool. In case of rainy days, there is also an indoor pool available. Moreover, our room was immaculate with no unpleasant smells, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

I came here for three nights with my partner. Not far from where we live in Montreal and relatively inexpensive — it was wonderful. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and the location is spectacular. The room was clean and cozy. They also have their own hiking trails and most of the activities/facilities are free and very well-maintained. We particularly loved the sauna and kayaking. There were a lot of people, but it wasn’t crowded which was perfect. You have the space to mingle or to keep to yourself. I also want to highlight the restaurant as many other reviews do. We reserved for a Saturday evening and unfortunately the whole resort lost power in the evening. Big kudos to the kitchen and wait staff for still turning out an excellent meal despite some dishes being unavailable due to the outage. If they have duck on the menu, I highly recommend it!

I enjoyed the choice of activities such as kayaking, canoeing, hiking and access to a private beach. The staff were highly professional. The animators were very polite, helpful and professional (thank you Frank!) We enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. The grounds were well maintained. The room that we stayed at was very clean and spacious. The location was great. Close to Saint Sauveur and Ste Adele and short ride from Montréal.
The breakfast was good but could have had greater variety of items such as yogourt, muessli, croissants and danish. Just a suggestion. All was good!

The place maintains cleanliness. The staff are approachable. My husband accidentally broke the coffee machine in the room, and he reported it in the reception. For being honest about what happened, the staff that my husband approached told him that he would not be charged for the broken item. For sure, we'll be back as we enjoyed the activities included in our stay in Auberge du lac Morency.
No microwave in the room.

the facilities are wonderful. The beach and the pool are kept clean. The staff on the beach were very pleasant to interact with. The location is great. Saint Sauveur is just a 20 minute drive away.
The room decor could use some updating. Since the air conditioner had to be on, we had to tie to drapes up so we could still close them, to keep the sun out and keep the room private. The beach chairs could use some cushions.

Beautiful location but quite busy and crowded near the entrance due to the winter activities (it’s nice if you like onsite activities though). Rooms were comfy but a bit far from the restaurant and pool. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is a bit expensive but has a nice view on the lake.
The pool and especially the changing rooms would need a refresh and more maintenance. We were there for 2 days and the light was burn in the shower. The soap dispenser and hair dryer were broken, etc.

The concept is great. It would have been nice to have a better idea how far away room was from activity center before booking. The restaurant was great we enjoyed our dinners and the breakfast was ok.
I never did have a good idea how the activities worked re scheduling etc. More info when arriving is needed. Beach always very busy, not enough Shady spots. Same as pool.. Advertising doesn't give a good idea of set up. More indication should be given that there are many stairs for people with disabilities and seniors. Beds comfy, but pillows weren't 100% comfy. Re bonus q4: emphasis number stairs and where room is - desired info- we were surprised extent of property

A lot of different options for rooms, staff was very friendly. There was also a nice indoor pool and hot tub that our family enjoyed. We loved our experience with the dog sledding and visit to the kennel. We visited in mid March.
I would love to see more reasonable price food options. Rooms were clean and a decent size, but would love to see some brighter color white or another color, rooms felt dark.

Did not eat breakfast Dinner was good but pricey Beach and pools were great
I walk with a cane as I have arthritis in my left hip and would have loved to be closer to the beach. Instead my daughter and I were way up the hillside too far to walk. Had to drive every day to get a little closer to the activities.fun and
