Restaurant et Gite Les Passionnés

The room was great and it is on the river which is beautiful, (though quite noisy !)

We expected to be greeted, as we were in the other Auberges where we stayed, but no one was there. It felt quite strange and was confusing. Even though the 'instructions' stated how to get in it, we weren't given a room number, so had to guess and try each room with our entry code. It felt deserted and more like an AirB&B where you have no contact with a host. If we had been told this would be the case then it would have been much better.

Very nice room on 2nd floor (Albert Leroux) with side window view of the river, super clean, great bathroom & shower, comfortable bed, AC + ceiling fan, quiet and so nice with the window open to fall asleep with river sounds. Breakfast prepared ahead of time and ready at our convenience, sensible to food allergies and adjusted offerings accordingly. Entry by 4-digit code received by email, convenient for late arrival. Thanks and will stay again when in the area.

What we most liked was the location with the sound of the rapids lulling us to sleep.

We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast - not the food but the process (self serve - noone to assist) and the necessity to heat the food upstairs and then carry it down 2 sets of stairs to the deck. Likewise for the coffee - only one small demi-tasse available per person.

I spent three nights in Val David and highly recommend Les Passionnés. Walking distance to town, located on a beautiful river and very friendly staff. Room was exceptionally clean and renovated beautifully. Usually the pictures of a room look better than the actual space but in this case it was the opposite! Delightful breakfast that kept us going until well into the afternoon. I have stayed in many hotels/B & B’s in the Laurentians and les Passionnés is by far my favourite. I will definitely be back, hopefully soon😊

This lovely inn is located in a beautiful setting beside the river and a short walk into the quaint village of Val-David. We were greeted by a very friendly host who was very accommodating. After settling in, we enjoyed a lovely glass of wine on the patio and really enjoyed the peaceful setting. Our room was exceptionally clean and beautifully renovated. Breakfast the next morning was very delicious and very nicely presented.

Beautiful large room overlooking a river, modern bathroom with great shower, very comfortable bed and this lovely house is located right across the street from the Petit Train du Nord bike trail and a short walk to town. Perfect!

This is our second stay and we love the room, location and, in the summer, the outdoor terrace. The Gite is within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Val David, and is right on Le Petit Train des Nords.

The breakfasts are pretty and well presented. The egg dish seems to have been frozen and reheated which affects the taste and texture. Otherwise very good.

Very pretty setting, near river with rapids, nice garden, quiet but walking distance to main strip. Nice modern rooms, extremely comfortable.

Unfortunately, post-Covid conditions meant that we had to eat breakfast in our room and dinner service was unavailable.

The new breakfast system. We couldn't eat a warm breakfast and also there was supposed to be a plate with my name labeled on it in the fridge. It was either taken by the next room neighbors or... Just not there.

The best hotel we have stay in in that area. Room is super clean. Very modern design bathroom. The house right by the rapid. Amazing view. Breakfast was amazing...Staff were super nice and welcoming...plus the coffee in the room was the best among all the trip... Nespresso coffee ☕☕☕
