Do not let outward appearances deter you from staying here! Rooms were spacious, shower hot with great pressure and AC a bit loud but kept the room cool. Parking lot is small, but next to RCMP station, so real safe. Staff was great, especially the night crew.
No elevator almost killed my knees. After a day of sightseeing it was not fun climbing three flights of stairs with suitcases!!!

Clean, quiet, central. Great bed, plenty of hot water in the shower. Some may not be happy with the '50s furnishings, but it had everything you need, just brown. I would go back.
No elevator, so have to carry luggage up a steep stairway to the 3rd floor. Odd: air conditioner in the room itself.

Staff friendly and helpful, room comfortable. The best bed in a month of travel. Loads of piping hot water. No food available, but not a problem as you are in the centre of the town.

Good attention from the lady at the reception. Nice atmosphere and close to all important places. I really liked the cleanliness of the room and the coffee maker, microwave oven is very useful
I like all. The only thing missing was that they opened the bar at longer hours

THe staff were awesome along with the bartender lady(Lisa)..they exceeded our expectations.....thought the hotel would be newer , but turns out everything in the Yukon is old..we stayed in a cabin built in 1898 in Dawson city and it was great. Remember no elevator and we were on 3rd floor(good work out with your luggage.) I would recommend this hotel.
No complaints..

Bed was beautifully appointed with one extra special pillow case which looked and felt like silk. I had great deep sleeps on the comfy mattress and high quality sheets. The housekeeping staff were excellent, checking in with me about my needs, and freshening my room daily. A kettle in my room was a welcome bonus, as was a waiting taxi upon checkout - thanks to the staff person who ensured I got on my plane! I also appreciated that the hotel was able to accommodate my arrival one day earlier with the same room for me throughout my stay. All staff were welcoming, personable, and willing to please.

Central clean and authentic. It’s one of the older building in Whitehorse. So you felt you were staying in history
Could get a bit warm. The building was not built to deal with 30c but they have retro fitted AC so good for them

Within easy walking distance to cute, quaint shops. Loved the "Jack London" feel of the place. Exceptionally clean. Staff VERY friendly. I would book here again.
Did not bother me, however there are only stairs, no elevator. Could be a problem for some.

nice bed good size room
the front desk lady was slightly racist and liked to say no to requests instead of trying to work with the guest. a different woman stepped in when I was fairly stressed about a situation and made the accommodation I needed easily.
