The breakfast was amazing! The French toast is excellent. The pancakes are quite dense so we did not order them. Since we stayed for 8 days the free breakfast options do get a little tiring. But overall it was great! Some of the reviews state the noise is a problem since it’s off a busy street but we did NOT notice it at all.

There is no beach access on the property. There is beach access probably a couple feet from the hotel (right across from the Wendy’s) and it’s okay but a bit rocky when you first enter the water. Coral beach is also within walking distance but you have to pay to enter. The best beaches are near the ritz Carlton and Casa Caribe but you have to either drive or take the bus to get there. Not a huge deal if you rent a car as there are places to park along west bay road and some of the side streets.

The breakfast and service were excellent; it's a great deal, especially if you have a family or kids as the breakfast was included every morning (think about those savings if you are a family of 3 or 4 or more :). Classic breakfast(s) and filling! Let us also say - we have stayed at hotels quite literally all over the world and have never experienced this level of service, hospitality and overall friendliness, starting with the manager Tyler. She was so helpful and thoughtful and always with a genuine smile and eagerness to help. Some friendly banter in the lobby led her to surprise us with the cutest card and a bottle of bublee that put smiles on our faces all day. Then she went above and beyond upon hearing we were celebrating a birthday to orchestrate getting flowers and chocolates for my fiance to surprise me with. SImply blown away! In every conversation with her you could tell it was her genuine pleasure to see the guests happy. Not only was Tyler FANTASTIC, all of her team was friendly and helpful answering our questions about beaches to visit and how to navigate the local bus system. Housekeeping was wonderful as well - doing a stellar job servicing the room, never upset when we were still in the room and they had to circle back later and always had pleasant conversation. In a word, this place, from top to bottom, from the convenience of location to the food to the people, is AMAZING!

the free breakfast only included a section of the restaurant's menu, which didn't really include fruit or juice, although the food that was on the free section was very tasty and you can always buy anything else on the menu you wanted

I loved the efficient check in process. My sister and I woke up at 2 am for our flight and was tired by 3 pm. They allowed us to check in earlier and get some much needed sleep. I loved access to food, desserts, and shopping on the ground level. There were also some other food choices (little hut/shack restaurants) next door to Cimboco. Great location for getting to the beach.

The breakfast selection was good but my eggs were forgotten and then we were told the kitchen was closed. The croissant was also a little hard.

from the moment we checked in early the staff was great The young lady was so kind and helpful with lots of ideas for place to eat and go to. Every time we asked the young gentleman questions also very helpful

'Locale breakfast" was delic as was the coffe on the first day Milk and creamer on hand. Next day coffee but no milk or creamer we asked twice but the girl was v busy and not going to fix it, it never came :( Day three no coffee no milk or creamer. after asking the couple serving the coffee came 10 mins later after 3 more times asking we finally got some creamer b4 we finished our breakfast. Coffee is the most important part of my day

The room was very large, and even had a loft with a bonus sitting area and pull out couch. It had a nice mini-frig, microwave, and dishes for 4. The A/C worked great. The included breakfast was very good and had multiple cooked options. The complimentary beach towels were large and soft. Very good location close to the beach (but not right on it), and across the street from multiple restaurants. Within a short walk to several shopping options as well.

Both good. Easy access to local stores we used and the beach. We didn't really need to go downtown, what wanted was there. If anyone is going to the Grand Cayman, we would suggest Locale. The rooms are good for the stay, and making the stay good and the ease of talking with the staff.

Nothing really. Because of the cost the exchange rate is high, but we didn't look too much at that. We really came to experience something different, in another country.

the staff was very pleasant and helpful in scheduling excursions and in answering any questions! The hot breakfast included in the price was amazing! The room with the king size bed and loft was awesome! Our room was very clean! The bed was very comfortable. Located near stores and restaurants, all walking distance. Make sure you eat at Peppers, it’s a one minute walk from the hotel; the beach is about 2-3 minute walk, you will need your water shoes, a lot of pebbles and rocks in the water.

a little pricey, but that’s Cayman Island for you. No complaints about the actual property.

Loved the breakfast daily. Loved the staff and the nice, very comfortable sized room. Onsite food was well made, plentiful and reasonable. A great choice for families and people who want good food, but not over the top expensive.

Property front is right on the main drag, so traffic noise while at the pool was noisy. However they try to lesson by plantings. Beach access was short distance away but with hot humid weather, carrying a chair and umbrella was a problem for me.

My family and I stayed here in December 2022 and it was really amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are extremely spacious, and the breakfast is soo good. This hotel is easy on the wallet without sacrificing on anything! Love the fact that they loan you beach towels (they are so soft and smell so good), beach chairs, beach umbrellas and even a beach bag! The Governors beach is only a 3 min drive away and is the best beach! Parking at the hotel is also super easy. Would definitely come back to Locale.

I needed a place for just one night. My room was very comfortable…..had a great sleep. Location very central and parking was very easy. I will definitely consider Locale for my own use in future and also as a recommendation to others.

Could be a bit noisy as it’s close to a Main Street. However with the overhead fan on, it dulled the noise from traffic. Other than this , I was very satisfied with my room.
