Location in Santiago was convenient. Buffet breakfast was fine. Room was large and had plenty of authentic architectural detail that we appreciated.

There are some popular bars/night clubs nearby. The late night music and loud patrons can be heard through the older style windows. It didn't bother me but could bother light sleepers who might prefer an interior room that's not facing the street.

Breakfast was very good and varied. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. My room ( once I changed it) was fantastic, had character and was spacious and spotlessly clean. The location was great , convenient for sights, restaurants and public transport.

I was initially allocated a characterless room with a window on to a corridor but when I asked to change it they did it willingly although I had a short wait for it to be ready

The location was in the center, you step out of the hotel and get the history. Historical building, no crowd, 24 hrs. reception, but the door has been always closed security reason. For the sight seeing by walk: a good starting point.

Unfortunately because of the historical building, there wasn't elevator, however the crew immediately offer to help to carry up the luggages.

Wonderful breakfast. Made us eggs every morning. Staff was very helpful. They used Google Translate to communicate with us. Charged my iPhone for me since I didn’t have the correct electric plug. Made sure our transportation to the port knew where to pick us up.

Good location being the old city center, walkabout to some of the attractions. General safe neighborhood.

There is no elevator in the hotel, had to carry luggage up the stairs. Graffiti on many of the buildings near the hotel, and trash was piling up in the evening right outside of the hotel.

Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Air conditioner, which was necessary while we were there. Modern bathroom and good shower. Good WiFi. Close to the old part of town. Nice bars/restaurants along the cobblestone streets adjoining the hotel. Helpful staff with limited English, but it wasn't a porblem.

We had to be buzzed in the front door, so sometimes we had to wait for staff to attend.

Location is great, beds were comfy, breakfast was pretty good, staff always willing to help and very attentive.

There are no windows to the outside, nor a description that says so. The hotel looks like an antique, but the room I stayed in says otherwise.

Great location with everything close and handy...staff went out of their way to help as I don't speak much Spanish, but at all times, they were great

Only one little thing was they were having power problems and the last night was moved to another room ...staff were very apologetic...

Quite noisy as we were in a street facing room. Also very uncomfortable pillows.

Great location near to all the main attractions. Very good value for money. Helpful staff. We made this our home away from home and stayed every time we passed through Santiago. The hotel very kindly stored our luggage. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are so friendly.
