Extremely helpful staff, close to food and shops, yet reasonable distance from the airport

Need to be less stingy with the air conditioning in my opinion. It wouldn’t maintain less than 24 when sleeping regardless of where you set it. I believe this is intentional, like internet throttling. I even had maintenance check it out. When I pay for AC, I expect to be able to use it at my own discretion. If I had understood that I wouldn’t be able to control my room temp, I probably would have made another choice which I did on my next trip. Also there was a loud party all night a few doors down that they didn’t shut down even after I mentioned it to the desk clerk. i really hate to have to report theses things because otherwise it was a great stay with outstanding service and experiences. The other reviewers don’t seem to have issues so I assume most people will be satisfied.

The room was really big and spacious. It was cleaned everyday and they were flexible with our request. They gave us good advice for local laundry options since the hotel doesn't have any facilities.

We reported a fault with the air con which was leaking a lot of water, unfortunately it was never looked at in the remaining 3 days of our stay. The air con dripped all night which was disturbing while sleeping even when it was off. It leaked lots of water on the desk which could've been really bad if we had left electronics/valuables on the table.

It was clean and the location was very good if you are interested in strolling around La Moneda, the municipal market and the historic city center. Very close to the metro station to go to other neighborhoods. Although, the neighborhood is full of grafitti and the streets dont look very clean, but that is typical of many city centers. If you like night life be aware that everything is closed at night in the surroundings.

As the comments from other guests mentioned, the hot water is not very hot. In the breakfast, the supply of food to replace what is finished is not very efficient. The scrambled eggs are mixed with ham which is problematic for vegetarians.

- The area around the hotel has little charm (except for Paris street): take the Santa Lucia metro (very close) to visit the other areas. - Bottle of drinking water available at the bar a little too expensive. - Bottle of water available (for a fee) at breakfast but only sparkling water

Everything was super clean -- bathroom, room, the facilities in the hotel. The bed was also super comfortable. Location of the hotel is very good (good restaurant right across the street, and it opens until late), being near major subway stations, and is surprisingly quiet for the location. Staff were helpful.

Night receptionist didn't speak English at all. I had low expectations for the breakfast as per other reviews, and they were right -- underwhelming. I could listen to people talking loudly in the hall.

Awesome value in a very nice hotel, bar and cafe on first floor. About 6 blocks from a wonderful neighborhood with tons of restaurants.

The immediate neighborhood was a little sketchy. I'd have taken Uber at night---but it's light til 9 in Santiago.

One of the receptionists was kind of grumpy. There was no chair in the room. We were two and there were no hand towel supplies or soap for both of us. We needed to ask for them and we got bathtowels. And probably a minor detail, but together with my toiletries I left an empty bottle which I collect and it was thrown away, though it wasn't in the bin. 🤬

it is clean and the breakfast was good. the staff, in general, are polite and helpful, but do not expect happy faces when you need them to have your problems fixed.

we had some problems with the shower of our room. it was not hot enough and it was not hot like the shower of the room of a friend. the effort to get the shower fixed or to change the room was unpleasant. by the end we got a new room.

Clean and really nice room. They kept my luggage while I was travelling outside Santiago. The receptionist all spoke very good English which is not something you can take for granted.

My room was on the second floor very close to the bar on the first floor. People at the bar were so loud one night that I had to complain to the reception. If you are sensitive to the noise, you may want to request a room not close to the bar.

Location is good, in the center of Santiago, walking distance to many attractions. The beds were very comfortable. Bring your adapter for electronics, I forgot mine, but the guy at the reception borrowed me one, which was very nice of him.

No restaurant in the hotel, only a cafeteria and bar.
