The staff was very friendly and helpful. They booked online tickets for the Great Wall and the Forbidden City and provided transportation instructions. They also exchanged my Yen notes to smaller ones, which is helpful since most stores do not provide for a lot of cash anymore. They all spoke basic English. One of them spoke English very well. Rooms were clean, quiet and spacious. Subway station (Tianquiao) that connects you easily to the major attractions is two minutes away. Restaurants etc and a famous temple are in walking distance. I think the hotel provides good value for money if you compare it to the major hotel chains in Beijing.

The room and everything are great and what I expected for a decent hotel – roomy, clean, friendly staff, ect. What really standout is the location. It's at the very heart of the "Old Beijing." It's very close to many historical attractions, restaurants, and the authentic Beijing-only stuff. I grow up in Beijing and then migrated to the U.S. (Therefore you should give my grade of the location some credits.) I can't think of a better place to stay when I go back and visit.

Hotel is sanitized everyday and is safe due to security key. Bedroom is big with 3 double beds. Location is within 2ring road. Near tourist spots like Temple of Heaven, Natural History Museum. Staff very accomodating when we asked for 1 hours stay extention.

The address at Booking.com is street #19, but is actually #17 - which makes our two taxi drivers experience find it difficult to locate the address. Then every taxi booking was smooth.

The location is near temple of heaven and forbidden kingdom. There are many foods and super marker surrounding. The staff is very helpful. The room is clean.

The water heater sometimes works, sometime doesn't work (I visited on Winter, so it's important for me to have it). I somehow could hear my neighbor footsteps loud. But it is fair for the price.

The receptors (Jing, Lili and Tina) at the hotel were very friendly, helpful and English-speaking, which is a rarity in China. The hotel and room are quite old, but they are renovating it. We had a quiet room with a view of the local road. Bed in the room is comfortable.

The staff could not have been more helpful. The two girls at reception were so nice and helped us with the subway, food, taxis and the language barrier in general. Without them, our stay in Beijing would have been much more difficult. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. The area was in a great location for the subway, with useful amenities close by

The staff was nice :) the location is good being right next to the Temple of Heaven. They were quick to assist us with issues we were facing :).

The staff didn't speak English too well so we had to communicate via translator, but even despite that they were really helpful. Our room was on the ground floor and had glass door entrance so it didn't feel too safe but we didn't face any problems with it.

Location and very friendly, helpful staff members. They were very timely in responding to my queries when I emailed the property.

Perfect location, comfortable also. There was a girl in front desk (night shift) which helped us for any questions we had. They stayed almost 1hr to solve how to go to Great Wall of China since we had only entrance ticket. Super helpful. Thank you girls!

Very good location close to subway station, can be easily reached by subway from Beijingnan Train station. Luggage storage on day of departure available, but no breakfast offered Rooms are modern, mattress neither too hard nor too soft. Good value for money!
