Pretty much everything! It was wonderful to return to a comfortable and quiet room after a long day fending off the hordes of tourists and people trying to sell us stuff (one of our group is very tall, and attracts a lot of attention from domestic tourists). We had a free room upgrade, the room was spotless, bath was wonderful after a chilly day at the Warriors, one of the staff loaned us their personal corkscrew, room was mostly quiet, gym was great.

There was a little bit of construction noise at night from the street I think, but I'm quite noise sensitive so this probably wouldn't bother most people (it didn't bother my partner). The bed was very soft - nice for a couple of nights, but by the fourth night my back was starting to feel it

The staff were amazingly helpful and really took care of us. We felt very at home during our stay which was just what we needed on our honeymoon. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. They not only upgraded our room but also decorated it with fresh fruits, a heart shaped mouse, flowers, petals and swans on the bed and a large bow up heart balloon. They even drew us pictures how amazingly personal is that. The room was always made up for us. The hotel is very clean all round and quiet. As it sits in gates of its own hotel park, it is quiet compared to the busy surroundings. There are also English speaking staff that helped us when we needed it. They helped with adding a bag to our flight home, which we could not have done without them. Thank you all very much for a fantastic stay we cant recommend this hotel enough. Also it is in a great location and close to many subways, with plenty of food places a short walk away.

Staff was really friendly and helpful and my room was nice and clean. There is a big and tasty breakfast in this hotel with a lot of choices what to eat (I'm vegetarian). I also enjoyed swimming pool and the gym. Location is also really good, because it is in the center of Xi'an. Beautiful!

Communication with staff was difficult sometimes because of the lack of knowledge English, but they were friendly anyway.

This is a great hotel in a quiet square but close to all main tourist attractions...only short taxi rides or 30 mins walk. The rooms are very comfortable. We had a queen room. And the breakfast good with great coffee and plenty of western choices as well as chinese. But what really makes this hotel are the staff who are fantastic. Before we arrived we emailed the hotel who booked us tickets for the Terracotta Warriors and the Song of Everlasting sorrow show. We did both on the same day and booked our own Didis to travel. Warren booked and paid for tickets in advance and we paid for them when we arrived at the hotel. Anything we asked of the staff was sorted and in such a helpful way. We also visited the drum tower, the muslim quarter, cycled the city wall (18km and bikes are hired when you have entered the wall at just 50 yuan for 3 hours). We also ate at some great restaurants and there are lots of western restaurants too if you prefer. We also visited the giant wild goose pagoda and for 30 yuan climbed 7 stories to the top for great views. A brilliant time in Xi'an. Thankyou. Highly recommend.

All great. The hotel doesn't have anywhere to eat or drink other than breakfast but I understand the Sofia hotel in the same square does have. You can also get room service 24/7.

Absolutely fantastic and lovely staff that made us feel so welcomed for our honeymoon to China. Room was beautiful and hotel incredibly close to the historic part of Xi’an. Good choice for breakfast. Overall an incredible stay.

More something to note- the hotel pool is located in another hotel linked to the Grand Mecure. Both hotels are within a complex however, so it’s not like you are having to walk down a street to get to the pool. Though this pool also needs some updating.

Staff was exceptionally friend and helpful. They even went out of the way to help us make shows ticket reservation when we cannot secured them online. I would like to call out Mr Warren Wang and Howard for taking good care of us. Their guidance and recommendations have help make our leisure trip planning so meaningful. Kodus!! Lastly, beds were excellent. Sleep so soundly and comfortably.

Location was not ideal but the excellent transportation (Didi) system make everything worth the choice.

The value of the room was extraordinarily good. I paid less than AUD 75 / USD 50 per night (non-refundable, no breakfast) for a super king room. The bed was the largest I ever slept in and was comfortable. The room was very pleasant to stay in. It's nice to have swimming pool on the premises, although it was slightly dalipidated.

The breakfast was mediocre and not really worth the CNY 95. Worst is that the photo you see on the hotel page on booking.com is actually showing the much better breakfast of the nearby Sofitel, which is CNY 168, so substantially more expensive. Every time you go out the hotel you first have to walk hundreds of meters to get off the compound. There's only one exit, all the other ones are locked, which means you often make a significant detour when walking. There are basically no facilities whatsoever within 500 meters. Most things you have to walk up to a kilometer for. The fridge in the room was not working, which is pretty annoying when it's 34 degrees outside.

They are friendly and very helpful! They booked taxi for us. They are helping us with the suitcases. We can have dinner in the other building opposite, after a long night/ arrival! We swim at the Sofitel! When we left heading to Beijing, I found out I forgot my headphone at the room, they send the headphone by courier to Beijing back to me! I can’t thanks them enough, thank you so much!!!

Excellent service from the hotel staff who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Also, got a free upgrade for my room. Extra credits to the kitchen and breakfast team for the personalisation of their service. Thanks for the amazing memories.

Nice hotel with a good location and excellent breakfast. Kathy and Benny and the entire staff were very polite and helpful, helped us book tickets for museums and order food online when we didn't want to go out. Our room was upgraded 2 levels free of charge. Would recommend this hotel!
