Breakfast was good with a variety & eggs made to order. The whole staff was very courteous & friendly. Especially the Manager " Ismael Bernier" , who was attentive to the needs & spoke english. The restaurant was nice with AC & good food ( as their isnt many restaurants in the town ) .

Stairs to the 2nd & 3rd floor ! overall it a nice hotel in the city ( letticia) as there isnt much of a choice of hotels .. Especially with Hotwater shower , Minbar, & AC.

I really liked the professionalism and kindness of the staff. To make a long story short, I was traveling for work with my ngo and spent two weeks at Waira. About halfway into our stay, my group experienced a series of unlucky situations. Even when I was admittedly presumptuous of the staff, they all did nothing but help us with our issues with a smile. The staff at this hotel are incredibly kind and caring, and I would highly recommend their abilities and nature to anyone who looks into that part of staying at a hotel.

This is not the fault of the hotel, but more of Leticia as a destination, but the wifi was not great. We were not able to connect to our work documents with ease, but with enough patience, we were able to get all essential tasks completed.

The people at the front desk and in the restaurant were nice.

I stayed the hotel 10 years ago, but compared to then, I felt that the overall maintenance was insufficient. My room faced the entrance, and I was woken up by the voices of people leaving for tours and the dins of car door closing from 4am.

Waira is a perfect base from which to explore Leticia. It has all the modern comforts, the food is great, and the staff is attentive and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay.

The rooms are a bit dark, but that keeps them cool in the humid Amazon heat.

Excellent choices for breakfast, coffee always available and the location was very convenient for walking around the central part of the city. Close to the airport. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Could have more lounge chairs around the pool.

Loud music in lobby until midnight with no attempt made at soundproofing the rooms. Our second night we had a 5am wake up, the reception did turn down the music when we asked. At breakfast there was a bunch of plastic wrap in the juice. Swing functions of air conditioning in room not working. Ceiling in lobby falling apart. Overall the feeling is of neglect and disrepair

Our experience at Waira was great. My husband and I came with my parents to the Amazon, did some day tours, and it was lovely to come back to a clean, cool hotel room and nice shower after being in the heat all day. We also ate in the hotel restaurant for dinner a couple of nights, and the food and service were excellent. It was nice to have a good restaurant right in the hotel when we were exhausted from our excursions.

clean and comfortable hotel near Amazon activities, nice big pool to cool off in, excellent included breakfast and also very good and affordable restaurant with extensive menu. good travel agency right across street. near many shops, cafes, and restaurants. a short walk to riverfront and boats. nice blackout curtains.

Brand new and perfectly clean, 2 nice pools, friendly staff, comfortable modern room, good buffet breakfast and restaurant with veg options, shampoo and conditioner in the room good quality.

We arrived before 3pm check in. They allowed us to use the pool and the changing rooms, and advised that they’ll let us know when our room becomes available. However that didn’t happen we had to go to reception to inquire. No one at the hotel speaks English.

Hotel room was spacious and comfortable with a nice sitting area and strong AC. The hotel's decorations were beautiful and breakfast was surprisingly good. The hotel was surprisingly lux given that we were on the edge of the Amazon Rainforest!

The surrounding area was a little dingy, and cell reception and wifi were minimal or absent, though these are more characteristics of the town than the accomodation.
