Exceptionally clean during our stay

Unfortunate that the roof bar/cafe does not serve alcohol, as we would have spent time there!

The hotel rooftop was really nice, over looking the ocean and with a direct sunset view. breakfast was pretty decent with serve-yourself options for bread, yogurt, coffee/tea and cereal, and made to order meals with eggs or pancakes. Room service was absolutely delicious and delivered pretty quickly. Wifi was solid and worked all around the hotel. The room had double blinds with the one behind being opaque and the one in front being translucent so you can see the view during the day without people seeing into your room. That was a nice touch. We were originally given a second floor room (207) that was quite small and right above the street with noise coming in pretty strong and the balcony overlooking just the street and buildings. we went back down and asked if we could get something else and he kindly moved us to another double room on the 5th floor (508) with an ocean view from the balcony and just about no street noise. it was also much larger than the first. So if booking a double room with balcony, request one on the 5th floor in your booking! another tip is to brush up on your basic Spanish or have a translator app ready as the staff speak almost no English. Same for most locals you’ll be interacting with. forgot to take more comprehensive photos but the ones I’ve posted are of the view from the room’s balcony at sunset, and one on the rooftop.

the wait to check in took a long time (30 or more mins) as there was a big group ahead of us paying separately in cash and just one person handling check in. We were tired after our delayed night flight and it would have been a nice touch to have an additional receptionist to speed things up for the number of guests the hotel was expecting at that time. Not a huge deal though. The only other thing is the hotel could really use a gym, especially since it’s recently renovated and has amenities like a rooftop pool. other than that we had a good stay and I’d recommend Sea Avenue. its one of the nicest hotels on the island it seems.

The rooftop pool area was the highlight of our stay. Room was clean and quiet.

when we arrived they told us the room we booked was not available and downgraded us. wish we would have had some warning, we are still confused on how the room we booked wasn’t available when we had booked it months in advance . We were there for a layover and were looking forward to hanging out on our balcony, but our new room did not have one. a suggestion that some shaded areas be added to the rooftop :) we weren’t bothered but this, but they don’t serve alcohol at their restaurant. you can bring your own and pay the corkage free.

The breakfast was okay - Not much of a buffet laid out; everything was cooked to order. If you wanted eggs or an omelet, you had to ask one of the servers. You also had to ask for any additional protein, IE bacon or sausage, but other than bacon, I don't know what kind of proteins they offered. Beds were super comfortable, mini-split AC system worked VERY well. Super friendly staff, clean rooftop pool with great views. Hotel staff started relatively early - they came by to clean the room ~0900 every morning. Close to the beach - short walk away as well as most of the better restaurants in San Andres.

You need to use your room card to "power" the room - so anytime one left the room, you would effectively shut off the room. A bit annoying when there is a mini-fridge in there to keep drinks cool and the temperatures are consistently in the high 80s/low 90s and you really appreciate AC on. You can ask for an additional room key for a refundable deposit though. The language barrier is a bit difficult - I only speak minimal Spanish, and none of the staff really spoke English at all - not a big deal as we worked through it and I taught myself a lot more Spanish than I previously knew, but it could've been a problem. We had a balcony, but it opened up to a wall... no views from it at all.

after the disappointment of our first accommodation in San Andres, we decided to change to this hotel. I must say this was the best decision. Hotel is very new, and modern. The design is beautiful inside. Also our room is quiet. There is hot water to take shower (which seems precious this island). Room is clean and spacious. We had very comfortable stay here. The view is just amazing from the rooftop, where you can bring your own beverage to enjoy the pool and the view. We love everything here and the staff are nice too. I could say comparing with other pricey, old and worn out hotels in this island, staying here is totally worthy.

The rooftop restaurant, pool, and jacuzzi were wonderful and had a beautiful view! The staff was friendly, and some of them at the front desk also spoke English. The hotel is close to surrounding beaches, definitely within walking distance.

The balcony photos on Booking are a little misleading - not every room will have an ocean view. Our second floor balcony only overlooked the street and businesses below. The room service was hit or miss - no service after the first night, and no extra towels were given after the second night.

The location of the hotel is just one block from the beach, safe to walk around. The staff is friendly and the food at the restaurant is pretty good

There were a couple of cockroaches in the room that I had to take care of myself. Apart from that, the overall cleaning of the place is very good. I would suggest to add an iron or a steamer to the rooms so guests can iron their clothes.

Excellent location, rooms are beautiful and modern, also the hotel is in the center part of the island but is far away from the noise party, so thats great. the breakfast was improving when I was there by a new menu and it was an excellent upgrade.

Just 50% of the view is beautiful, part of it is beautiful sea, and part of it is local houses, some of them not so nice

Rooms are new and well decorated, with comfortable beds and sparkly clean bathrooms. Staff is very kind. Location is good, close to the beach and commerces. Pool in the rooftop has a nice view to the ocean.

The hotel is still under construction, especially the top floor. Breakfast is very basic (small fruit, eggs, bread and coffee). There was no soap in the shower. The pool is small. When arriving, I was located in a room of inferior category respect to what I paid; it was a room with no windows which makes me claustrophobic and was unacceptable for me. The general manager solved the situation giving me another room with window and balcony.
