The staff were excellent. We received a parking ticket in the Hotel carpark for not displaying a disk even though we had paid. Staff were nearly as outraged as we were and took it upon themselves to contact third party to resolve. Apart from this very professional and friendly, happy to give recommendations about restaurants etc. Room was comfortable. Food in restaurant was reasonable. We were there during a music festival in the square in front of hotel. Whilst noisy was fun! Hotel felt more corporate than we had been used to in Denmark.

Breakfast was pretty average. Make sure display disk or letter from hotel When parking.

Nice to have a hot option. Scrambled eggs where lovely, the cooked bacon was lovely, Very crispy. the bread was delicious. nice selection of cold meats and cheese. the hotel was in an excellent location. our rooms looked onto the square which was lovely

the Sausages at breakfast could be better quality. the bar could be opened a little later. we were told it closes at ten but it actually closed more like 21.20. we did find a bar called the King george a 2 minute walk from the hotel served by jasper. great spot. the shower could be hotter and pillows could also be better. the square was busy and noisy on Saturday night until the early hours of Sunday morning but it really didn't bother us

Location is excellent as the Hotel Britannia is in the main square. Close to train, bus & ferry. Lovely breakfast and restaurant. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The highlight was the exceptional service from Mia who greeted me at reception and explained everything throughly, also offering great tips of places to see locally. She is a huge asset to the hotel.

best hotel in Denmark and I've been to many! always reliable with great staff, great restaurant and perfect location

parking is policed by a 3rd party company and its the only thing that lets the britannia down. the 3rd party company are ruthless with tickets and you cant leave the car 5 minutes without getting a fine.

The Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly, also the facillity is very clean.

The bed was not comfortable as it was two small single beds pushed together to make a double bed. The Hotel should have mentioned that in the room description. Further the room was not quiet as the door and the window allowed noise to enter.

Good bed, lovely and helpful staff. Breakfast is limited compared to others but very qualitative. Room is roomy.

Soundproofing of the room is not great, we were woken up by the alarm off the guy next floor. Hearing people walking outside the room is also not that usual anymore.

A fantastic sleep, A great room with a view across the main square. I really wanted to stay a bit longer but sadly had to depart the hotel for work stuff elsewhere. Restaurant/bar food was delicious and the girls/staff definitely looked after me.

The hotel is perfectly situated smack in the middle of the pedestrian area, right next to the main town square, yet still easily accessible by car. The hotel has its own two-level parking lot, but it may fill quickly and is not free-of-charge. There is also a public garage right next door, but if you are visiting during the weekend, you may simply look for a free parking spot on the street nearby. The room was well-maintained, clean and cosy. The buffet breakfast was somewhat limited in its offering, presumably due to the hotel’s size, but you will most likely not miss anything vital. E.g., you can even get a non-dairy milk substitute upon request. That being said, the hotel’s top-selling attributes are its aforesaid perfect location and accessibility, and – in particular – the staff’s cordiality that gives the hotel that warm, homey feel.

The room was spacious. Breakfast was nice and had what you reasonably could ask for. The staff was very helpfull.

The bed was very soft and the room needed a fridge or a minibar. Single rooms were rates way too high. You got a small room with a very small bathroom at almost the same price as a double room.
