The building is run down (like most of Cairo) but the hotel room is very clean and easy to access, nothing too fancy though. The staff is friendly (receptionists all speak English) and the owner Mr Hamaza is just a phone call away if you need anything. They arranged a FREE shuttle to and from the airport. Also, try to get a room facing East! The East-facing view (you can see from the reception in the pictures) overlooks the Nile and is absolutely gorgeous.

The owner Mr Hamaza offered to help me book a tour (Pyramids, Alexandria, etc) at a lower price. This turned out really poorly -- the tour guide did a bad job and I had to find someone else midway during the trip. However, in his defense, the owner admitted that it was bad and was honest enough to refund me part of the money. Breakfast also isn't great, but you can get amazing hawawshi just across the street.

The room is equipped with a fridge and TV (one channel). The hotel is located on the 15th floor, and the elevator is working (it is an interesting elevator indeed). No cockroaches or other insects.

If you're looking for something super basic for your stay, choose the Isis. I stay here every time I come to Cairo because it is a lovely, friendly little place with excellent staff who go above and beyond every day. They will always help you with absolutely anything you need at any time. Breakfast is excellent and some of the staff speak very good English (though not all, so be prepared for that). The rooms are surprisingly quiet for the location and beds are very comfortable. I stay there alone as a woman and have always felt perfectly safe.

You will be very comfortable here as long as you understand that it's a very basic little hostel, nothing fancy. Please note there are no hair dryers so byo.

We had a short stay, but it was impressive because it was organized. They offered to arrange a tour for us, and then it was perfect. We visited the Pyramids and Sphinx. I think its price was reasonable for us, the bed was comfortable, and the room size was suitable. I highly recommend this place if you want to take an awesome trip.

The road congestion makes it take a while for a taxi to reach the hotel.

I had a short stay at the ISIS hotel. It was a nice stay in a comfortable place. The room was wide enough for a single person with a private bathroom, and the staff was friendly and helpful with a fast response. The area and street were very quiet and very near most of the famous places and landmarks in downtown.

Large groups may encounter issues with the elevator because it is not big enough.

Great location, friendly staff and clean hotel. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is a very convenient location close to the city. There are lots of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood, and the view is very nice Excellent and tidy. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

The street is crowded with cars, but it didn't bother me.

I didn't face something annoying me.

I recently stayed at Isis hotel 2 in Egypt and had a wonderful experience. The view from my room was breathtaking, The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, with housekeeping maintaining the room in pristine condition . I appreciated the privacy offered throughout my stay, and the reception staff were always welcoming and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again.

From the exterior, the building doesn't look new

Their hospitality was superb. Manager, staff and tour guide Rauf was excellent, can communicate in english well. Breakfast was nice. Wifi, Ac and Location is good but building is not. They should transfer their hotel to other building in the same area
