The location, whilst a short taxi ride from Suva town, was perfect as it was tranquil and beautiful. After a long day of travelling, it was nice to be greeted by the staff at reception, who were friendly and helpful. We were grateful that the restaurant was open late and serving delicious food including local cuisine, and the atmosphere was very romantic. Our room included everything you could want and was comfortable, right next to the swimming pool which was handy. It was the perfect start to our vacation.

We were sad to leave

The layout is excellent, the room I had was large and really comfortable. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant are incredible, they can’t do enough for you. On Sunday I missed breakfast (I didn’t realise they finished serving earlier as they have a big lunch buffet) however they still made me a fresh fruit salad. A special shout out to the reception staff and kenny the ground man who went out of their way to help me. The pool area was great with beautiful views over one of the lakes.

Whilst the restaurant is great it is a different company so you can’t charge everything to your room, so remember to take cash.

Stayed in the Bure and with a gorgeous view of all the greenery. The Bure was a great big size where it had a space for seating area and then queen bed area, TV, bathroom, aircon and a lovely big balcony. This place felt like a complete sanctuary, listening to the wildlife, water and trees. The restaurant area was also peaceful and lovely to sit at with beautiful views. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone looking for a private and relaxing getaway. Only 25 mins out of Suva. Food options were also AMAZING.

Ideal location for us, close to the ticket office and entrance to the Forest Park and easy to get in and out of Suva by local bus. Also easy to get to and from the airport. There is a pool which (we did not use) and a restaurant and bar with friendly staff and a range of dishes to suit most people. All staff are very friendly and helpful, including organising a very early morning taxi to get to the Levuka ferry. The restaurant and bar look over a waterhole fringed with tall trees so you can see various birds that are otherwise quite hard to see in the forest park. A word of warning - there have been robberies and muggings in the forest park. Take advantage of the offer of a security guard/guide to stay safe. They have caught and dealt with recent thieves so now thieves know to stay away as it is no longer easy pickings. Good place to come back to after a big day out in the forest park since it is so close, or Suva.

First night had some drunks staying who came in between midnight and early morning yelling and then throwing up. This could happen anywhere so it is not something worth complaining about. The rest of the nights were quiet. The beds were a bit soft for us but may suit others. The TV didn’t work, but we were tired after big days so it did not matter.

- Very nice staff who were helpful with all questions before and during our stay. They provided a taxi estimate that was very helpful when commuting from the bus station to the lodge. Some very friendly stray dogs were around and seemed to be treated well. - Great restaurant that's located on a pond. It had a varied menu and was able to cater to vegans and vegetarians. - Cool location that really did feel like it was in the middle of a rainforest.

- Bathrooms were a bit old and dirty, but manageable. - Rooms were super basic. This wasn't an issue for us, but it felt like a dorm room. We did have a cute balcony over the pond right outside of our room. - We didn't venture out, but the location did seem a bit isolated and may require a taxi to get to a supermarket or restaurant.

Beautiful rainforest setting! Crisp, clean air. The room and bathroom is super-clean and shower is large, hot water plentiful, bed firm and clean. The restaurant food is quick, tasty and plentiful. Reception followed up on payment mistake very quickly and well. The cocktails were much better than usual for Fiji!

All fine -just some suggestions: better floor towels and curtains (as bathroom towels were tattered and room curtains not hung properly). Pls have a doormat and also a small floor rug to cover the cold tiled floor/especially just next to the bed (perhaps a local woven Fijian floor mat) to bring the look/comfort of the room up just a bit. Perhaps a bright contemporary local wood painting and/or the Mareqeti Viti calendar showing local wildlife...

The room was perfect for spending the night only. Beds were comfortable and happy with housekeeping. Enjoyed the pool.

Nothing as we only used the room as extra accommodation due to more family members being at our house in Nausori.

Great location.

I upgraded to a private room with bathroom. The room was nice, but the bathroom was shabby. I feel I paid way too much for what I got.

location is terrific simple cabin - needs charging plugs near bed as opposed to by the teapot I think it’s a tad pricey but Fiji doesn’t have budget accommodations was there just 1 night - actually would love to find something like this for my next trip at a better rate .

location - private bure with lake views, walking distance to the rainforest where we swam in waterfalls. We also ate at the restaurant which was lovely and great value.

There were dogs on the property but unlike other places these dogs were fighting at times and quite assertive. I would keep an eye on kids around the dogs.
