Surprisingly clean, comfortable and modern rooms. I had previously stayed at Greenstar a few years ago in Joensuu and the rooms were a bit dilapidated. The common areas were spotless. Despite being so close to main roads and train lines, there was no noise from the street in our room. The breakfast was also excellent and a good selection - some of the food could have been replaced quicker, but it seemed to be busy that Sunday morning. It was a short walk to the centre for restaurants and a great location to the train station to pickup and drop off friends.

The parking was a bit weird. Without knowing in advance how the payment system would work for it, having to use the Parking apps was ultimately what I did, and it charge more than 12€ for it (the apps take a service fee). I was also asked for my passport or residency details, being a foreign national (although a long term resident of Finland) I was unprepared for this at check-in so it would have helped to know in advance.

The hotel is clean and very quiet. The interior is fresh and modern, the colors reflect the green idea. Good selection of quality tea bags and coffee in the reception area, with the choice of nut milk and regular milk. The breakfast was good.

The breakfast room looks old, stuffy and outdated. It doesn't look like it belongs to a same hotel. I room wasn't cleaned even though we put the please clean-sign outside the door before 10.00 a.m..

Comfortable family room, good breakfast, 24 hour self check in was very convenient for a late arrival. The family room shows up in the system as only bookable for two adults, but a quick message to the hotel confirmed that the room would fit our family of four (the price was the same).

We took a while to get the self check in to work as the last step to produce a key card was not so clear, we eventually managed without having to call anyone though.

The pillow is uncomfortable Small parking place. If you go by car, you might not get a spot There are charging stations for electric cars. However there's no time limit on charging and as result guests leave their car to charge overnight. Nobody else has a chance to charge

It is very cozy and modern. The TV does not have many channels but it has the right channel for watching Huutokauppakeisari so that’s all you need. Breakfast is ok.

2nd floor rooms are through a conference wing and there seemed to be no good signs for it so I felt lost for a while, but the reception did give good instructions.

The breakfast was nice, the location was good and I loved the fact that there was a Hesburger in the same plot. It was nice to come to my room after a rainstorm and get some burgers and relax. It was a nice stay.

The hotel doesn't have anything to do with it but I had a hard time falling asleep with all the motorcycles driving past at like 2 am. It made it annoying to wake up at morning to go to the event I booked the hotel for.

Good rooms with all what you need. Although room window went to the main street it was very quiet in the room. Good and big bathroom. Fridge available in the room. We arrived with our bikes, and we could keep the bikes in an empty conference room during the night, which was very nice. We also had breakfast, the buffet was good and had all what one needs.

There was no shower curtain in the bath room, hence after the shower the whole floor was wet. If no curtain, then at least a floor cleaner to remove the water would be nice to have in the bathroom.

Verz close to train station, the breakfast was very good with great choice and the staff were nice. The room had all necessary equipment

There is some kind of noisy ventilation in the bathroom, but I missed the option to open then window for fresh air. The bed wasn't really comfortable.

Sauna was great addition to the room. Room was joined from two rooms, other had bedroom and other had sofa, tables and sauna. Both rooms did have own WC. Fridge was positive to have. Parking lot for car next to the hotel entrance, with separate cost but still great to have and it was covered by the hotel on top of it.

Nothing too fancy about room or furniture.

Great location, coffee and tea at reception all the time, nice breakfast with a few vegan options available: oat milk, oat yoghurt, olive oil, bread, oatmeal, fruits, nice staff, very clean

No air condition, to open the window you need to ask for special tool at the reception
