The renovated rooms look amazing. Comfortable bed. The location is at the city centre and yet a quiet place. Good room size and temperature. They also solved the dryness problem and the humidity levels are now perfect. Delicious breakfast. Free car parking. Good value for money. helpful and professional staff.

The hotel has a very good price value It’s in the middle of the town, it has a free underground parking, the breakfast is solid and good And the sauna is nice. It is very clean as well. In terms of price value probably the best choice in Lahti Yes, the hotel is old but well maintained

This was my second visit to Kauppahotelli. The first visit didn't go very well, but this time everything was excellent. Great customer support, I got a free room upgrade, the staff were great. The location is excellent for access to Lahti and to the train station.

I would have liked more vegetarian food for breakfast. Other than that, no complaints.

This hotel is wonderful. No frills and neon lights, just a good hotel with all the basic facilities and the best manager ever. My room was a single bed one with a little hot water pot to make coffee and tea in the morning. Small TV, comfortable bed, bathroom with a shower ( one step up ) a closet and so on. The breakfast was really nice with Vegan options, you might have to mention it but otherwise it was there. The manager is a pearl. I am disabled and she took so much care to make sure I was not lost the first day. She also saved me from missing my flight the last day, thank you Sinikka! It is a short way from everything and I will certainly stay there if I am ever in Lathi again. Clean, cosy and felt like I was going home every night.

If you need a fridge it is in some rooms not others. I didn't need one. Also I would have liked one more wall plug next to the bed. My room had one step up to the bathroom that might be a hindrance to some people.

Very basic hotel but close to center and easy to access by car. Clean room, nice stuff, sauna available every night at comfortable time.

Breakfast could be served later than just 9:30 (except for Sundays when until 10)

Good breakfast, and central location. The room was to the inner court, nice and quiet. The hotel is tidy, yet a bit worn out. Good basic quality for a reasonable price. Would come again.

This is a good unpretentious hotel in the middle of Lhati and ideal if you are a triathlete and want to train by the lake. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Location, free car parking, good breakfast

the air inside the room was so dry that it was hard to sleep. It is the problem of north countries especially in winter but hopefully there can be a solution to increase humidity a bit inside rooms. For example putting humidity machines in each floor (ilmankostutin).
