Amazingly welcoming staff! We arrived late in the afternoon and were immediately offered their free bicycles which we used for a great tour of Oulu. We could even use them all of the next day. A plus was the little 5 o'clock tea time with great pastries! The building in which the hotel is located is quite lovely and allows a peek into Oulu's history

The rooms were a bit small as was the shower The hotel's location was a bit too far away from the city center (but, again: take their bikes - the city of Oulu was surprisingly even more cycling friendly than Amsterdam)

Hotel building is very nicely renovated old traditional wooden building. Old style is respected but with all modern needs. Staff was superb, very helpful and nice. I borrowed bicycle from hotel and spend the evening visiting several nice locations around the city centre by the sea. Hotel has a high quality kitchen which offers casual tasty lunch but in the evening fine dining. Basically you can have all your meals In the hotel. Hotel is the right choice if you choose a quality option for a typical chain hotel. This hotel invests on peaceful hotel stay. Absolutely to recommend! .

such friendly staff, great value lunch only 12 Euros, and breakfast also included as well as complimentary afternoon tea. it is not located right in the centre, but only a 10 minute flat walk away, and therefore is nice and quiet. Tip re the bathroom: put the bath mat on the carpet just outside the bathroom to step onto; use the provided “scraper” to move any excess water away; the under floor heating will then evaporate any excess water - it is a small ensuite behind glass doors.

Afternoon tea available for the same price! What a beautiful idea. Also vegan options. Peaceful place, wonderful old building, pleasant interior. Great facilities. Bar and restaurant. Fast taxi service.

A lovely little boutique hotel in a historical building in Oulu, with a lobby and reception designed with welcoming decor. The tiny hotel room was immaculately clean. A nice breakfast included in the price.

When checking in late, the restaurant was closed and there was no possibility for having something to eat nor to drink at the hotel, neither was there a minibar or beverages in the room.

Charming hotel, wonderful team, fantastic restaurant, great drinks and perfect for a visit to Oulu. Modern rooms with still give a perfect idea of the house‘s history. Simple but all good bikes where free to use. Staff was of great assistance at any time.

The breakfast and the good coffee. Location was great and the room was... controversial. Awesome renovation and taste on everything. Free parking was a great addition.

Minor things but they were minimal.

Hotel atmosphere is fantastic! It's classic, fancy and comfortable. The breakfast is served in the restaurant with a great selection of fresh options, and the afternoon tea is picturesque. The also have meals during the day for affordable prices. Everything is implemented with high quality and attention to details, from the soft bed and linens, toiletry products, room lighting and decorations, and staff friendliness. As it was very warm when we were there, the rooms were also provided with a portable air conditioner device.

There are not many easy-to-reach power sockets in the room. We had only two sockets in the floor under the table after disconnecting the TV. There were other sockets only inside the bathroom. Since the building is old and protected, the bathroom is a "glass box" inside the room. This wasn't a big problem for us, but turning the light on during the night brought light directly to the bed.

Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Small but comfortable room. Very good parking possibility and easy reachable by car. Walking distance to the city centre is about 15 minutes (maximum). In the hotel guests can also get bikes. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfy, beautiful and a clean hotel in the vicinity of Oulu city center. Bikes, gym access and afternoon tea available, included in the room price. Super friendly staff and good breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay there!
