I liked the location, staff, food options (room service and buffet), and spa.

Being on the second floor, I could still smell the smoke from the casino and possibly neighboring rooms. My eyes were slightly itchy and watery for about a week. My throat had a slight tickle for 1-2 days.

I stayed here for 1 night (actually, it was only 8 hours) to rest before my 6am flight. The reviews for the cheaper motels weren’t promising, nor did I want to stay too close to the strip or by the airport (too noisy, high resort fees for amenities I wouldn’t be using). I reserved a room on a non-smoking floor, which was exceptionally comfortable and quiet. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy, and front desk staff were very polite and helpful. The dining choices were great (truly something for everyone!). Though I wasn’t here long, it was worth the money for the sound sleep I received.

I stayed with my granddaughter who is 22 years old she and I came to see Post Malone at T-Mobile. The easy location near car rental and airport was nice. Loved all the restaurants, Starbucks, gift shop. loose slots! 😀 pretty safe area, seemed like decent mix of people of all ages. Not a big party scene which was nice. Registration was super easy, no long frustrating lines. Love the seating area to sit by registration if you felt the need to grab a nice comfy chair. Our Bell hop was great, valet was great, employees in gift shop were extremely nice!

Oh how I wish you had to have a room key to go up the elevators to the rooms! I don’t like that anyone who is there at the casino just to gamble can head up to the rooms if they want to follow a vulnerable person who isn’t paying attention of who might be following them. This is something you should really fix ASAP! I think most hotels now have that implemented to cut down on issues. Please bring this to the attention of the owner!! Other than that, that is my only concern or complaint. The hotel was very nice!! We had a great stay.

You get that Las Vegas feel without being in the heart of Las Vegas. It also provides an old school Vegas feel. You get a coupon book at check in with free drinks and discounts at restaurants in the hotel. They also have a café with $2.99 breakfasts and the food was delicious. Very family friendly.

The room was very comfortable. I loved that there was no carpet in the room, and everything in the sleeping/living area looked very updated. The shower pressure was good and the water was hot instantly. I really loved the desk and lighting around it. It made for a perfect makeup station.

The bathroom didn't look as updated as the rest of the room. The vanity was nice, and the paint was updated, but the tile looked dated. The shower looked dated as well. At first glance, the room was very clean and smelled fresh, but unfortunately, housekeeping missed a gigantic bloody booger someone had wiped on the headboard.

Spacious! Loved the Coronado restaurant had all my favorite foods and the wait staff is above and beyond. I love that the rooms are hardwood floors and my husband who is a carpenter had a lot to say about the crown molding which was fabulous.

I did have a jewelry item that was not valued very high go missing after Housekeeping. I hate to blame, but it did happen.  I told the front desk and they said that they would let their housekeeping manager know. It was unfortunate that happened.  It wasn't left on the counter or anywhere careless it was actually in a zipped jewelry box.

The room was larger than expected. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We ate at the seafood restaurant which was outstanding, so much so that we ate there twice. The elevators were quick. The staff was very responsive and helpful.

The shower drain was slow and we ended up standing in water. The curtain did not block out all the light and when I tried to move the curtain tighter the rod fell apart. I reported both to the front desk roughly two hours before we were leaving. Parking when staying overnight was troublesome. We wanted to try the Prime Rib restaurant but f

Good room and free parking. Lots of things to do including the spa. Friendly staff. Great prime rib dinner. Location is out of the way enough to avoid the messy traffic of downtown.

Our room view was an alley with garbage bins. They were dumping trash all day and night. Very noise and an ugly sight. The room safe was not functioning. Someone left the fridge door open and it took a while to cool off again. The vending machines on our floor didn’t work (credit card reader wasn’t accepting the payment/selection) — 2nd floor. So I had to go to another floor to buy bottled water.

Room was comfortable and very clean, I disliked the distance between the parking garage and hotel desk, then the walk from checkin to the rooms, but this is most likely an issue at all large properties.

I was required to leave a cash deposit because I made the reservation online then at checkin didn’t have reserve funds on the card used, while it was nice that this was an option, they advised that at checkout in the morning, housekeeping would first have to inspect the room prior to returning my cash deposit. They advised this typically takes 10-15 minutes. When I went to checkout they contacted housekeeping and I went to get coffee and wait. When I returned 15 minutes later I was told the request hadn’t “saved” and they called to confirm/request housekeeping go inspect my room. This took another 20 minutes to complete. Overall this situation was due to my own situation, but being made to wait 60% longer than promised caused me to be late for work.

We stayed at Southpoint for longer than planned due to some issues with our previous hotel, reception staff were very helpful and courteous. The facilities on site (bars, casino, restaurants etc) were great. It was well set out and was easy to navigate around the Casino and find where we needed to be. The pool area was large and hand plenty of sunbeds. All staff we encountered were polite and friendly. The staff in the gift shop were really helpful and diligent when wrapping our gifts to take home. This hotel is based well off the strip but we found that this made the stay very relaxing while still being within easy distance to the strip or downtown.

The only thing i can think of is when we ate in the Cornado Cafe one evening that our entrees arrived before we had finished our starters which made us feel a little rushed.
