We liked this place very much, even though it was in the town it was very secluded. You arrive at the gate and then enter the car park, unload your bags and walk through the wonderful garden with lovely trees and plants and their own vegetables and fruit growing, past the outdoor heated swimming pool to the property where you are greeted very friendly. It also has a lovely terrace for outdoor dining and relaxing in the sun. The room was very comfortable with an en-suite shower and they provided robes and slippers for your use during your stay. There is also a jacuzzi and sauna which we were delighted to use. The breakfast is fantastic, I would highly recommend this for a stay of any length, we stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect.

Well kept city mansion with a wonderful garden. Very friendly hosts and pets around creating a cosy atmosphere. Beautiful and tidy rooms. A classy dinner was available as well as a superb breakfast. Safe parking. Walking distance to downtown. Perfect base for exploring the Somme valley (or just relax, pool&spa available). Really enjoyable stay, highly recommended!

There is a photobook at the B&B which shows the amazing restoration the owners did themselves. Maintaining the character of the property but modernizing with eye for detail

It was a pity we couldn't eat in the B&B as it was a Sunday but we could a nice recommendation for a restaurant at walking distance.

Wow, wow, wow. From the moment we parked our car in the secure car park and saw the accommodation peaking through the impressive garden we knew we had arrived somewhere special. Our host Eric greeted us and showed us to our room which was up two flights of stairs. The quality of the finish throughout the accommodation was excellent and we found ourselves looking around at every detail of this amazing property. The night we arrived Eric was preparing the evening meal and asked if we would like to dine there ,which turned out to be a good decision. As the accommodation was in the centre of town it allowed us time for a quick explore and a beer before our evening meal. Our meal was a set meal for the night consisting of locally caught fish with cherry tomatoes, beef and courgette rostie followed by a vanilla syllabub with strawberries and meringue. This delicious homemade meal was a real bonus on our first night in France. Out only mistake was just booking one night. Whilst this an oft-used phrase, we will be back.

What a beautiful tranquil haven! A garden full of birdsong and scented flowers, with a wonderfully varied mix of hens wandering the grounds, and very friendly cats and a couple of little dogs. The hosts were equally delightful, such genuine people, and Eric is an exceptionally talented chef. The building is fascinating - an ex-nunnery dating from the times of the French Revolution. We stayed overnight en route to Calais and will definitely return next time we’re in France. (As it’s located in the centre of town, some of the roads are narrow but we had no trouble driving along them in an estate car or of finding the property).

Fantastic boutique hotel with beautiful gardens and welcoming hosts. We had a gorgeous attic room overlooking the garden. The breakfast was outstanding, with freshly baked pastries, and eggs to order from the hens that roam the gardens. It was a bonus to have free parking, and it was very quiet, but close to the main area of Abbeville. We highly recommend, and hope to return to this beautiful property.

We are seniors and struggled a little with the steep stairs, but Eric was happy to assist with our luggage. Next visit we'll request a room on the ground floor.

Beautiful house, amazing delicious dinner cooked by Eric, amongst his lovely dogs, cats and chickens…quite a unique experience

A beautiful property, renovated with good taste and style. Very lovely and comfortable room with lots of space and all needs catered for. Breakfast was perfect taken with a view to the lovely courtyard and garden. The private and secure parking was excellent. The location is great walking to shops and restaurants. A brilliant place to stay before or after going on the Euro tunnel except you will wish you were staying longer. Last but not least Eric the host was very charming and helpful and his English is very good too. We highly recommend and would love to stay again

Everything was great

you enter the car park through electric gates and are faced with a gravel car park with imaculate high walled gardens and the château behind them. you are greeted by the chickens and have a well deserved beer in the courtyard. room fabulous and the bed so comfy i loved it all. the owner is one of the most chilled and charming man you could ever wish to meet. the breakfast was excellent. this is a gem of a stop and i will definitely be back.

we would have eaten in the hotel but that night they were not serving food. however there are some lovely restaurants a short walk away and we had a good meal in the restaurant recommended.

We spent two very comfortable nights relaxing in one of the very well appointed garden suites. This was to allow us the flexibility we wanted in the middle of our break. Fortunately for us we arrived on a day when Eric was cooking dinner. We had also elected to breakfast when we booked. Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding and not to be missed.

For us there was absolutely nothing to dislike about Les Myrrophores.
